even farhat. when you can bowl razzaq at this time of the innings, there's no harm in giving farhat a go.
 
Waisay what do you think is wrong with A Razzaq? I mean if a situation like this can't motivate you then there is definitely something wrong with you!

You have to have something to cut it at test match level.

Razzaq does not have "it"

then how do you explain the fact that a 19 year old A Razzaq was arguably the best ODI player in a team containing the legends like Wasim, Waqar, Saqlain,Inzi etc......surely test cricket isn't 'that' much harder than the ODIs

simple, very simple.
Razaq is a good ODI player but he is just not a test cricker.

He is a different player now to what he was back then.

well if there isnt that much difference between two cricketing codes why do some players struggle to interfrate between the two?

I like razzak as a ODI player and deos well in that format ,but in test matches he doesn't have the mental strength or the physical ability to be good at this level.

the way he bowled as a 19/20 year old he would have been a handful in any kind of cricket plus you are 'suppose' to get better with expereince!

Razzaq was a pretty average test bowler when he 1st started and hasnt got any better!

there's more chances of this match ending up in a draw , because Pakistan and Inzi don't have the guts to be aggresive.So they will play it safe.
 
It's not only bad pitches that have changed the game for the worse BUT poor captains have caused a big difference.
Half of cricket can be won by your tactics and thinking.

Inzi should bring in malik or hafeez ,and have spin attack on both ends ,if not lara,Bravo will fall for it.

Lara's one of the few batsmen who, when he gets a start, really goes on with it. His conversion rate of 100s to 150s to 200s is better than anyone else's at the moment.
 
It was a thick edge and the ball went quikly to Farhat's left, he went at with both hands but the ball just popped out at the last moment 108.2Shoaib Malik to Lara, no run, dropped. Lara comes down the track in an attempt to go over the bowler's head but ends up with a thick edge, Farhat at first slip fails to hold on to a fairly hard chance
 
in the last innings, Hafeez got Lara out only in his 4 overth over? now i ask why Inzi is using his off spinners so late in the innings? why Danish kaneira was allowed to get slaughtered by Lara, although Inzi should have known it that danish was literally masacred by Lara during our tour of Windies.
Lara is a great bowler of spin so inzi should have changed bowling, using his off spinners and leg spinners but no Inzi bhai......and then Farhat dropped Lara too........Match drawn...nothing else left for me in this match.......dead wicket made our both bowlers look dumb and useless.

Well Inzi is a poor captain.But Windies do have a chance to go for the win. I doubt that Pakistan will bat well after being 100+ runs down.

Well hopefully Inzamam will wake up at some point and realize match situation, that will probably be at tea when its time to eat!

Hafeez and malik on now, and knowing inzi will probably just bowl for rest of session!
 
35+ overs left in days play so W.I will be looking at being around 550-600 at close of play!

Well Lara is giving a master class here on how to bat in these conditions and go on when well set.

Every single pakistan top order batter got a start and pretty much threw it away!

And as i mentioned in another thread, we were giving too much respect to the windies bowlers. i mean our scoring rates were outright pathetic, and even once did not make lara think about his gameplan.
