Well played Urooj Mumtaz and Armaan Khan. They played amazing innings:

Urooj Mumtaz: 22
Armaan Khan: 43 not out in 48 balls with 3 4s and 2 6s
Qanita Jalil: 15 not out in 13 balls with 2 4s

Almas Akram is Woman of the Match for her bowling:

7 overs 4 maiden 7 runs 3 wickets

Cricinfo's Preview of the Super Six:

Pakistan

They have made it to the Super Six with an unexpected win over Sri Lanka and can't be realistically expected to go any further. But now that they are among the big girls, they can gain some useful experience ahead of the Twenty20 World Cup.

Best game: Their first win against Sri Lanka in 19 matches since 1998. Pakistan scored 161 for 7 and then bowled out Sri Lanka for 104 - with the last five wickets falling for 13 runs.

What lies ahead: Most likely defeats and a place in the qualifiers for the World Cup in 2013.

Roadblocks: What Pakistan need to target in their forthcoming matches are scores above 100 or batting for 50 overs.

Thanks Nishi :P

These ladies are doin really good. Other teams have been playin for so long on international level and we have really just kinda started and we are doin so good. I am already proud of them. Good job ladies.

Armaan Khan can win us the match..if she bats 30 overs in the next game. :D

Good job Pakistani girls.

Amazing stuff by the girls team. It's a shame there's no quarter or semi finals otherwise we may have had an outside chance of making it.

The top 2 super six teams will play in the final

Brilliant stuff from the women!

No matter what happens from now they have been a success!

Congrats to the Pak women and all the backup staff including Umar Rashid.

Looking at the table it shows them with 2 defeats in the Super 6, yet they have only played one game. I guess those 2 defeats are the carried forward defeats from the group stages?

nods.

The Women's T20 World Cup is going to be held alongside the Men's T20 World Cup in June in England...

Had PAkistan not dropped Sukhan Faiz, and brought in Armaan, we would have lost, so credit to whoever identified Sukhan as totally out of her depth, and dropped her for this game!

Really proud of the ladies. Watched a bit of the game against England and really liked the eenrgy and attitude of the team.
