Wow defending 146 against England. What a miracle. What an insane win.

Bowlers get it done again.

How Waqar managed to be legend and a coach for so many years with such little knowledge about the game is beyond me
 
England are painfully realizing that you can't blindly adopt a gung ho aggressive approach on every pitch, at times you have to respect the conditions and bowling attack at times and play proper cricket.
 
So Moeen Ali has scored 6 runs in the last 8 balls he faced :)))

And he was acting as though he can finish it off by himself.

Only one big win for Pakistan. Two very close wins otherwise which is not good, indicates weak links in the team against solid opposition.
 
The last two matches have been wild. Not great for the heart but what a thriller it's been.

Rizwan should get MOTM for his batting performances.

Pathetic batting by Moeen Ali in the last 2 overs. He was like Six or bust. He totally forgot that he can run 2 if the ball was in block hole. His inability to stay deep in the crease to pump the yorkers for boundaries was also exposed.
 
OK i was wrong calling our PP tatti start, well i must admit I have no idea what will happen on a given day, we defended two low scores in a row, instead of 1-4, we are 3-2. Guess our players do have a clue on what they are doing.
 
Moeen’s inability to finish things off shows just how good Dhoni was lol.
 
Pakistani batting looks very weak once the two openers are gone. I don't see Pakistan making the 2nd round in world cup with this batting line up.
 
Moeen ali is not darren sammy
He was trying to replicate sammy in 2014 world cup
When sammy blocked 2 balls of last over and then smashed 2 sixes to faulkner.
 
Biggest positive for me today was the tulla bowling of chacha. Impressive and valuable 6th bowling option.

Those were wide yorkers and not that great. They could have been made into full tosses or half volleys. Any decent T20 batsmen would realize what the bowler was doing and would have stayed deep in the crease to blast them for boundaries. You cannot waste 8 deliveries after facing the same type of ball 8 times.

England must look for a better finisher. Moeen Ali should bat in Top 4. He is not a finisher.

England have more to be worried about, their batsmen needed to be more responsible and they got out playing stupid shots.

England missing Buttler while Pakistan is missing Shaheen too.

This kind of win solely based on Babar,Rizwan and Pakistani bowling will put a cover on the horrible Pakistani middle order.
 
David Malan is the culprit for England. Struggle to understand what England feels he brings to the T20 side. He doesn't have a power game and doesn't have any major release shots.
 
Ahmed Jamal's last over was terrific. The best last over for a debutant.
 
Brilliant batting by rizwan and brilliant bowling performance by all the bowlers... Babar and Rizwan are the best opening pair for Pakistan till now and some people wants to changed it. :mw

Nah. Wouldn’t have even been an issue if one or two other batsmen had got in and supported him. I won’t criticise him tonight.

Rubbish analysis. No batter is hitting wide yorkers for boundaries except through lucky outside edges or slices. That was a tremendous over from Jamal.

I agree that Moeen should bat in the top-4, however.

With Jamal, Shadab and Nawaz in the team Iftikhar should come after them , especially with Shan already in the team to rebuild in case of early wicket.

If anyone was going to win that game from that situation it was Moeen.
He got them close and rightly took the decision to try snd win it himself...

Moeen's hitting is so effortless and he can whirlwind himself to good scores with lusty blows yet he still hasn't furnished his batting skills well enough to drag his team over the line. And he has been playing international cricket for almost 9 years.

England have issues: can't wallop everything but they have monsterous talent.

Pk need a middle order. On paper today's tram bats long but it's flimsy.

If you know what the bowler is trying to do, then it becomes very hittable as the batsman can position himself for that delivery. Moen Ali did not try to go deep in the crease to make it a half volley nor take step forward to make it a low full toss. He just stood there and was trying to dig the yorkers out. :))

What are your comments on England batting in last couple of matches? Yes 2-3 players might come in but, still (Pak is also without Fakhar and Shadab played just 1 match in the series and both are important).

I posted regularly during the innings and I had it 50/50 when England were 6 down and rightly so...
Of course you change your views during the game because the situation keeps changing.

I can take criticism and I can understand criticism against players when they're not performing consistently.
But your hatred for one particular player is ridiculous to be point of being nauseating...
You're like a broken record and it puts me off the match thread.
 
Winning it through Aamer Jamal makes it special. Guy can be real handy in whiteball cricket with him being a pace bowling all rounder.
 
Mubarak bros! Very good victory and really unexpected! It says something that only Rizwan and Moeen looked good on this pitch. There was brilliant bowling from both sides.
There were England were bowling fast en short, Pakistan was squeezing by spin bowling, like they use to do when we had Afridi and Ajmal.
We may have to keep Ifti in the eleven for only his bowling and fielding. Bit like Hafeez back in the days.

I think Moin gambled on Jamal being a debutant, would bowl one two more half volleys and collapse under pressure.
