The final act of the T20I series between Bangladesh and Pakistan is upon us at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. With victories in the first two games, Bangladesh have already sealed the series, their first multi-game T20I series win over Pakistan. The hosts will now look to pile on the misery and complete a whitewash, while Salman Agha and his men will be desperate to salvage some pride and head into their Caribbean tour with a bit of momentum. It was the batting that let the visitors down in the second game, as they slumped to 15/5 early on and then 47/7 in their chase of 134. Faheem Ashraf did give Pakistan a glimmer of hope, but they eventually fell short. For the second game in a row, run-outs and soft dismissals plagued their batting effort, leaving little in the way of positives. The onus will now be on the likes of Fakhar Zaman, Saim Ayub, Mohammad Haris, and Salman Agha to step up and finish the series on a high. With the ball, however, the visitors have found a few bright spots. Salman Mirza and Ahmed Daniyal have both impressed and will be eager to carry that form into the final clash. Bangladesh, on the other hand, seem to be finding their feet in the format, having now followed up a series win over Sri Lanka with this triumph against Pakistan. It has been their bowling unit that has laid the foundation for success. Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, and Mahedi Hasan have all contributed effectively as a unit. While Litton Das has struggled for runs, Parvez Hossain Emon and Jaker Ali have stepped up with handy contributions on tricky surfaces. Last year, Bangladesh created history by whitewashing Pakistan in their own backyard in Tests and now, they have a chance to repeat the feat in T20Is. Can they get the job done? We shall soon find out.

Bangladesh Squad: Litton Das (capt), Tanzid Hasan, Parvez Hossain Emon, Mohammad Naim, Towhid Hridoy, Jaker Ali, Shamim Hossain, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Rishad Hossain, Mahedi Hasan, Nasum Ahmed, Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Mohammad Saifuddin.

Pakistan Squad: Salman Ali Agha (captain), Abrar Ahmed, Ahmed Daniyal, Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Hassan Nawaz, Hussain Talat, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Mohammad Haris (wk), Mohammad Nawaz, Sahibzada Farhan (wk), Saim Ayub, Salman Mirza and Sufyan Moqim

Can tullebaaz team win final T20 or further humiliated by Minnows Bangladesh :kp

Weather looks ok to me.... Not much chances of rain in 2nd half

Anyway, this game is a dead rubber now. 3-0 will not be humiliating because Bangladesh did that before in Tests so we all knwo, Pakistan can get whitewashed and there are more chances here as well.

Now what is gonna happen: Farhan is gonna get a game in the name of chance given bla bla, sufiyan might also get a game. But TBH, I don't care anymore.

Move on to next series now. This one is a deadbeat

Hoping for a high scoring thriller and good innings from our openers.

Can Pak salvage a win?

Yeah, we might probably lose there as well. But we are not gonna change how 11 players are selected... Still selecting based on hype rather than performances that makes them deserving.

Saim
Farhaaan Fakhar
Agha
Hassan
Haris
Khushdil (should be dropped)
Fahim
Ahmed Daniyal/Abbas afridi
Abrar
Sufiyaan
Salman Mirza

Bro i respect you as a poster but don't you think its bit unfair to call this tullaybaz these young guys are learning to be aggressive in Bangladesh pitches atleast give them a chance.
No need to respect a 31 year old troll

That pitch was not meant to be aggressive but to be smart... This is called zero game awareness.

Nawaz has wasted a spot should be a batter if needs to be changed. Haris needs to go and Farhan a go with his keeping.

This is international cricket, there are no excuses here. 14/4 and 15/5 are not acceptable scorelines for a major test playing nation. If we accept ourselves as an associate nation, then sure it's alright but then don't try to dupe the public by posting a million videos about these boys being world beaters.

Even SENA teams struggled in bangladesh in t20s on these pitches. There's no lack in skill atleast for non seamy and bouncy pitches. They'll perform on batting pitches in asia cup and world t20.

There’s a difference between struggling and losing half your side for less than 50 runs almost every game.

yes I agree, Farhan and Sufyan should now get a game!
They are being used as nobodies atm... Just trying to let everybody know that we gave chances to farhan and sufiyan and then they will get dropped but other pathetic players will stay in the team,

finally they got rid of Khushdil but nawaz is still there...LOL

For farhan, this game is another deadbeat but important in a sense that he can score big and slap the selectors for benching him....

Does PCB have some sort of grudge against farhan.

Is he the dead match specialist?

Farhan had a dream run in PSL, he should be made an all format opener

If IF IF... farhan fails here, might see him on the bench for few more series and then he will be dropped for good.

I was saying since start, play all three fakhar farhan saim. Instead we are playing khushdil and hussain talat

Farhan back in the side now that it’s too late lol. He was the in form opener and yet they dropped him. Just senseless.

It’s because he failed when he was young and got international chances. He was written off. It happens often in pak cricket. It’s also why youngsters are terrified when they lose their international places they don’t get it back. Look at Sami Aslam giving up hope and going to USA. That was our leading u19 scorer of all time. Farhan has had to absolutely uproot trees to get a call up as a result.

Thats why I’m not a fan of debuting cricketers young. It often ends in misery and leads to them being written off.

He was in form in PSL. Psl may not be a benchmark as usman khan also top performed but anyone who watched saim, Fakhar and farhan in psl should have known who was the clear winner.

You are talking about his making it to the squad. Once in the squad, given Saim's form and Farhan's recent performances he is an automatic selection. At the moment, there is simply no excuse for him not being the first choice opener. if the argument was Saim's utility with the ball then Fakhar should have been replaced.

Difference between Pak batters in t20 and other top teams .. Cant clear field when bowled at body.. Int batters have that power game , Even if they are not allowed to free their arms and bowled at body line.. they clear the field with clean power hits. WI vs Aus series is example of that. Pak Batters need bad balls to hit boundaries

Whats this obsession with all rounders that too khushdil level, why dont they play fakhar saim and farhan in same xi

As Farhan is performing there is definitely a competition for opening spot. So Saim has to perform if he doesn’t want to be dropped

Fans need to understand that these small bilateral series are exactly for these kind of experiments and chances for players. In hindsight everything makes sense. But with these matches the coach and the captain will better understand you will be their first choice for each position before the big event (WT20).

It's good that all three Saim, Fakhar and Farhan are competing for 2 spots. Whoever continues to perform will simply book his place permanently.

All Haris plays is high risk shots lol. He’s not really a proper batsman. But you do need those sort of players. But he can’t play as an opener in a weak batting line up. Just chaos. Middle order is fine for him. Even 3 feels a high, but we can make do.

This is the most painful review I have ever seen. I’d rather watch paint dry than hear this umpire say ultra edge building again

If Hackris is the best WK bat we have then he should be played at 6, hacking away at 3, wasting a few balls in the process puts a lotnof pressure on the incoming batsmen

@Rana Now we can unleash :vk2 .

Theirs a reason I said to wait. Its the Mamoon effect. He pops up when Pakistan falters, but after stating his piece, The opposite happens.

Its always a one game wait.

Nvm I am the jinx machine at this point

even Farhan is struggling now.. like i said BD bowlers were wayward in PP
Pitch has been like this since the first game, even then we got off to a flyer thanks to Fakhar but then the hacks got out one after another. Today Farhan capitalised. My point is apart from him we dont have any one who can use the conditions early on until the pitch really starts to become two paced after 7-8 overs.
