What they should do however is swap out 4 players for the bench strength as to not single saim out.

No point in this series if the bench strength isnt tested.

Think it’s the right call. You persist with Saim and you put Farhan there.

Fakhar’s just too old and doesn’t have the time to experiment hoping he’ll come good. It’d be different if he was performing right now in international t20s as a top order player. But he hasn’t. If you haven’t cemented your place in the side by 35 it’s too late. He should have been given chances as an opener years before. And when you have had that many chances already in the top order, it’s doesn’t seem prudent to choose him over a younger guy in form right now.
