Unfortunate that the combined cricketing IQ of our team is in single digits. They just don't have any situational awareness & never learn. Such a poor team as a whole. Good for us that only a few countries are genuinely interested in cricket otherwise we'd be a non-entity.

Indians have way better things to do than malign your Babar dude. You are talking as if he is Sachin and Ponting rolled into one.

People malign those who are equal rivals or whom they are jealous of. Babar is neither of those.

If Indians had to malign someone it would be Cummins or Smith or Root.

I swear Babar fans are delusional.

You can say what you want but go read all the Indian run pages on Social Media. They are obsessed with Babar and calling him names. You are delusional if you are denying this.
 
Death, taxes and Babar getting out a left arm spinner. He is better off being a brand ambassador these days instead of a cricketer.

I've read his blogs & watched his videos before he became the coach & he talked a lot of sense, however, all of that has changed the moment he got the job.

But the thing is, you cannot just blame the coach once the match has started as the captain makes all the decisions.

Let's just take the example of this game & see how terrible the captain is.

First you have two left handers and then two right handers and then we will have a situation of two left handers at the crease again in Nawaz and Talat. Such mindless cricket cannot lead to sustained success as it's so easy to just change the batting order a bit to avoid this situation.

The batters in our team also never play percentage cricket that benefits the team or long term goal. If Fakhar wanted to take a risk or play an attacking stroke, he had the opportunity to do it against Linde. Take a single against the off spinner & let Babar settle in against him. Lower the chance of getting yourself out but nope, he has to walk down the ground and gift away his wicket. You also know that the other team has 2 left armers and they are only holding them back because you are at crease. By just staying at the wicket you are hampering the plans of the opposition.

This is brainless cricket & I am tired of seeing this happen over and over again. If I were to be the dictator of this country, I'd ban all international cricket & make these people do real jobs so their brains can develop a bit.

Pakistan have conceeded an above par total on this wicket. Our spinners did not bowl well enough and did not fully exploit the turn on offer on this wicket.
 
Would like to see Sa use same tactic with pace attack they used in last T20i where they were bowling short pitch bowling from round the wicket

@Rana is like the crowd. Cheers when Babar comes in and loses interest once he is out. Only focused on Babar not the actual game.
 
Rizwan has serious issues in rotation of strike , he always pushes up required rate to that level where it makes very tough for rest of the batters.

Of course they did just commenting about run a ball is not needed as long as you are setting up good stand and in line with chase like Rizwan and Agha doing atm.

I repeat what I said ages ago.

A team winning will continue to win and a team losing will continue to lose if Babar is playing in the team.

That's how inconsequential he is in the grand scheme of things.

So the team would have won the last T20 game without Babar. Laughable.

Also you are talking about a player who averages 54 with a Strike Rate of 87 in this format and thousands of runs.

He did play against India when SA was in a situation where they had to avoid qualifiers for playing world cup. That was three years back. India's main team was in Australia preparing for world T20. Played against B team. He opened the bowling in ODIs. But INdia will have left handers right through the line up.
