Danish Aziz is not only 25 but he looks 25 and in fact a couple of years younger. Refreshing to see

Had a phenomenal T20 tournament and Pakistan Cup.

Showed serious ability of finishing games. Without slogging he scored some quick runs.
 
Well Danish was brought in to play the finisher's role given that's what he's been doing for Sindh.

Needs to take that into international cricket.
 
Danish is pretty nervous. But already looks better than the tape ball cricketer called Khushdil Shah.
 
Babar again failing to take Pakistan home. I can only remember the 100 against NZ where he carried the team home. Other than that, he's always fallen short.

Pakistan may crumble here against the run rate.

Did pretty well in last domestic season of white ball cricket. Finishing matches which were almost gone from his team’s grasp got the eyes rolling.
 
Good probing line from Nortje. Need to see him out and attack the others.

After such a good partnership between Babar and Imam, if the rest of the players can't secure a victory then shame on them. I really feel for Babar.

This is why I wanted Abdullah Shafique to play. We are a batsman short.
 
This is how South Africa should use Norje in ODIs. In the middle overs, bowling quickly in short spells.

Nortje is a fantastic bowler. It will be a pleasure watching Rabada and Nortje under Pant's captaincy a week later.
 
Wow, benefit of doubt here. Not sure if Danish gets to play this pace and quality in domestics.
 
Pakistan were playing with 3 batsmen and laced with bit and pieces batsmen. A collapse was always on the cards.
 
Faheem would have been better option. The wonder that is Asif. I wonder why he’s here !!!
 
Most of our batsmen struggle against short ball. Danish is another addition to the list. Asif won't last long either. It all depends on Shadab and Faheem here.
 
Danish simply will not have faced that kind of pace and bounce on those dead domestic wickets.

Time for Asif's usual hoick up in the air after a few dots.
 
Bit angry at Imam as he shouldn’t have thrown his wicket away after losing Babar..
 
This is where the experience of Sarfaraz can come in handy for Pakistan. Just a genuine thought.
 
Not sure if its the best time for Asif Ali to come in but, lets see how he goes here

Really have to question the wisdom behind pcikign this batting line up . . and really Mohammad Wasim set the team management up for failure . .

Danish Aziz, Shadab, Faheem, Asif from 5 to 8 . . like what?!? These are all lower order hitters at best . .

It worked today (or did it?) because Imam and Babar clicked . . but where does this line up go if it finds itself 50/3 which it does more often than not . .

Absolutely ridiculous selection . . I thought it was the Misbah and Babar's fault but then I looked at the squad and there is no one there . . can someone please enlighten me what logic our new snazzy chief selector showed in his slide deck?
 
Our red ball saviours Rizwan and Faheem will have to save us here as well
