Pakistan (275/8) defeat West Indies (155) by 120 runs in the 2nd ODI & take an unassailable 2-0 lead

Nawaz is better spinner but both him and Shadab are good complete packages for the team.

Depends on the pitch too. There will be pitches where Nawaz won't get much purchase but Shadab will. Shadab hasn't completely mastered his art yet, but he has turned so many matches for Pakistan. Kinda flies under the radar.

Yes definitely

Babar Azam: The wicket was double-paced early on. We wanted to build a partnership as we knew it'd be tough for new batters. Unfortunately, there was a run-out. Because of me we were 10-15 runs short. We saved him (Khushdil) for the end, because we all know what he can do in the slog overs. I was confident that our spinners would bowl well. Nawaz was outstanding, he picked wickets at crucial moments.

Nicholas Pooran: Tough day for us. We bowled well in the first 40 overs. We gave 20 more runs, 250 would have been ideal for us. We need to review it (death bowling) and keep working. It's a new team as well, we are in rebuilding stage, we can't get everything right. We learn from his experience. Credit must be given, Nawaz bowled amazingly. We couldn't build a partnership, we had to dig deep. There were soft dismissals. Today wasn't our day.

Mohammad Nawaz, Player of the Match: I focused on my basics, I wanted to bowl in the right areas. It spun a lot. I knew if I bowled in the right areas, the pitch would help me. Shadab didn't get the ball to spin much in the first two overs, but then even he got it to spin. Finger spinners got more spin. As an all-rounder, I try to improve with every game.

The Pakistan skipper inadvertently gifted the visitors five additional runs in the second ODI.

In the batting form that he is currently in, it would feel like Babar Azam can hardly put a foot wrong on a cricket field.

The captain of Pakistan has crossed the 50-run milestone in each of his last eight international innings, a run that included three consecutive ODI centuries.

In the 29th over of the West Indies innings though, Babar Azam was spotted to have picked up one of the wicket-keeping gloves from Mohammad Rizwan and used it to collect a throw behind the stumps.

This was deemed as illegal fielding by the on-field umpires and as a result, added five extra runs to the West Indies total.

Laws of Cricket: 28.1 Protective equipment:

No fielder other than the wicket-keeper shall be permitted to wear gloves or external leg guards. In addition, protection for the hand or fingers may be worn only with the consent of the umpires.

It’s one of those rare situations which we don’t witness in cricket very often and it’s certainly one which Azam would like to forget soon.

The incident did not have a serious impact on the match result as Pakistan went on to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series thanks to captain Azam’s 77 and a Player of the Match performance by Mohammad Nawaz who picked up 4/19 in his 10 overs.

He already has a disproportionate number of absolute peaches in his short career. Says something about his ability.
Yes that's why I think he should be groomed for tests think he has something about him
