So Australia put on gimme bowlers in the middle to make a match of it and Pakistan are trying to give all their tailenders some batting practice?

If we win:

I am really glad that we won today. Obviously I am very happy with my performance and Iftikhar helped a lot too.

Any win is confidence boosting and we will take this into the Netherlands game as a positive.

Saud is in our plans and he had a hit previous game and was feeling a bit ill because of food poisoning so we rested him.
 
Australia found a solid 2nd keeper in place of Carey. He smashed Rauf at the back end

He's a reserve player and can't help us in the actual games. Nawaz getting this score and Mir hitting a few is far more beneficial.

The guy has batted well against their main bowlers, drop catches are gonna happen in the real games also, you want all batsman to retire after a drop catch.

Nawaz playing a classy innings although benefited from a drop from Marnus. Hopefully he can finish the chase off.

Silly shot again but a good showing from Nawaz. Theres quite a few positives from Pakistan's 2 warm ups which is all we needed.

I can only see 3...Saud in the previous match and Nawaz/Usama form with the ball and bat (proving we don't need Shadab) today...

Failures are more....Openers failed again, Chacha was dropped off the bowling of Smith than Warner so his 80 odd was a sham, Rauf still hasn't found form, Hasan Ali and Wasim Jnr are as bad as each other, etc.

It’s start of the season, wickets are fresh hence looking like chasing is easier, that too in warm-ups. But, after 2-3 weeks, wickets will be worn with regular rolling, with match pressure it is not going to be easy chasing there, particularly if you are chasing around 300 every-time. Indian wickets have changed lot - there are good bounce now, even with dew spinners will be difficult to be “milked” in middle overs and pacers are going to enjoy better time than usual.

I don’t think batting first or second will matter that much as long as you are executing both well. It’s about the team strategy & strength - I believe teams like ENG, NZ, AUS would like to chase for their batting depth while AFG, SRL, SAF would like to defend…. Probably both works for India while and I think it’ll be better chasing for PAK. Babar can manage a reasonable chase almost alone, but batting first, game won’t be at his hand & he is not the smartest tactician to squeeze teams into choking.
 
Nawaz will always be the eternal bottler. Goes missing when the pressure is on. His midget level body language under the pump tells everything.

Australia were so kind to Azam that's why they didn't bowl him a single ball from front liners. Otherwise it was a 25 over innings for Pakistan.
