It's cause Pakistan is hesitant on developing new talent.

Saim.ayub was a fluke, he would have been discarded but Akib javed chose to stick with him in odi and chose to back him which is why he ended up succesful.

The others wouldn't get the same opportunity. Saim got the opportunity because his competiton was Abdullah and Imam.

Imam is out of favor due to leaking dressing room details and Abdullah is useless.

Every other batter has to compete with Babar and Rizwan and their the 2 undroppable golden boys

IMO

Rizwan messed up at the time when Mulder was removed and he didn’t follow up with Shaheen the next over and went with Naseem.

Shaheen was getting good away shape and it was a chance to either knick off Klaasen or at the worst get Shaheen to bowl out with an economical over.

Instead the Naseem over went for some runs and Klaasen built some momentum, only to cash in when Shaheen returned for his final over a little later.

Small things, but it cost Pakistan a difference of 20-30 runs to the total
