The reason for the witch hunt is due to the fact that there are players who’ve been averaging greater than imam yet he got a fast track into the side. what message is inzi sending out to the youngsters who’ve been performing well? Selection should be on merit, what had imam done to justify his spot in the starting xi?

Also, when most players are starting there careers, they’re usually on the bench for 3-4 tours before they get picked, different story for imam though.

Yes but the problem here is that they drop everything and start thinking of themselves as superstars who don't need to work hard anymore and improve. It is usual for our part of the world especially Pakistan.

I wouldn't go as far as calling it a fluke but it's just that they're not improving their game which is infuriating. Technique is something which one can improve on if they want to and the same goes for strokeplay.
