Congratulations on the clean sweep. Last match was just icing on the cake as youngsters grabbed the opportunity to seal the game for Pakistan.

Credit goes to Babar allowing Shafique, Haider and Khushdil to bat ahead of him. This is testimony of the fact that Pakistan needs to play these young guns to develop a competitive team for the WC 2023 instead of playing the likes of Hafeez and Iftikhar.

Usman and Shafique are two big positives for Pakistan and deserve chances on regular basis. Haider Ali has already cemented his place even though he still needs to work on game planning to stay at the crease for longer time.

However, baffling to see Fakhar again failing against the mediocre line up. The guy has completely forgotten to bat and need to be dropped rightly.

Zafar again unlucky not be in playing 11. Should have been included instead of Imad but again credit should be given to the management for playing four under 20 players.

Mostly I have seen Khushdil play the cut shot against spin on the off side, not sure if he has any other shots. Would love to see him develop even 1 more stroke especially against pace.

Just one more shot will make him twice as dangerous - he already has an amazing leg side game, just needs to ensure teams don’t target this dependency.

True. Hopefully he is working on that behind the scene during practice session. He is young and has solid temperament for a finisher so just needs to extend his radar a bit.

Nice to see him get confidence behind him but I’m hoping he learns from this and shows us all, proves us all wrong that he’s got more to him other than a leg side game. Future is definitely looking bright for Pakistan t20 cricket but need to get rid of Fakhar and possibly have Talat or even Shan in.
