Pakistan face uphill battle for survival after Australia take a 300-run 2nd innings lead at Stumps on Day 3 of the 1st Test

Saud has a habit of throwing his wicket away after an excellent start. Hope it will not be a case here.

Sarfaraz Last 10 Innings in Test Cricket

Everyone in this entire line up has this same problem. Including so called “king”, “president”, “prime minister” etc.

Intellectual dishonesty
1. Imam style of batting doesn't fit shan style of playing but yet he got picked over saim.
2. Babar Azam played with no intent looked under extreme pressure and if he doesn't perform in second innings maybe time to give him and Shaheen good long rest... apparently newcomers are performing better than experienced ones...
3. Sarfraz need to be shown the door once and for all.
4. Wether win or loose Shan should force the whole team to be aggressive from this point on just to get the message across.
5. Whole day of batting and if anyone defends imam innings simply is clueless a out modern cricket.
Guy looks like he is walking around wearing a diaper and if he hits a boundary he gets as happy as a number 11 does... and he is supposedly an opener....
6. DROP BABAR and SHAHEEN and send a message that Noone is bigger than game...
DROP BABAR and SHAHEEN - Media , old players union, lahoris, etc everybody will put pressure on Shan and Hafeez, that is how it is run in Pak..

PCB actually missed the opportunity to rest Babar and Shaheen and let their replacement flourish and this will bring in the much need competition inside for their places..

Even if Sarfraz is dropped same thing happens...They reach a certian point where dropping them for poor form becoms injustice

Just survive another 5 overs of this new ball and then score with a positive intent

Saud Shakeel has played 14 inns in Tests. Every time he scored at least 20. In the entire Test history, only one other batter has a similar streak - Sir Everton Weekes (14 inns).

58 more to avoid follow on... I wont be surprised to see Afridi slogging 6's

Shakeel done on a short ball as I predicted
these guys are products who come from low and slow bounce tracks wat more to expect.., one week of marble practice wont make them bat like bradman.

the way he got out looks like a tailender, where was he watching when bowlers bowls... Umpire was trying hard to hold his laugh at him the way got out...

Should have picked backfoot players.

Kamran Ghulam had a high chance of success in Australia imo due to his play style.

Playing 10 batters who are cut out fromt he same wood wont help the teams inability to play pace, seam and swing...

300 is the first target for Pakistan but looks unlikely

Sarfraz fans disperse.

Feel bad for them. They just never learn. Taking Sarfraz outside of Asia = big mistake.

But ofc, they have brainwashed themselves into believing he is Asian Gilchrist.
Only place he’s scored runs was in uae as a keeper not up to it as a batsman definatly not

Faheem needs to make it count else this is yet another paid holiday to Oceania.

What's the difference between imam the opener and Salman the 7th batsmen tortoise innings. Both are playing selfish knocks and don't consider team goals.

So, looks it's going to be 16th consecutive loss in the Southern Hemisphere for PAK. Just no respite for PAK whenever they play here

Nearly impossible for a Pakistani fan to be positive about anything here

These are simple and obvious decisions. You can play Sarfraz in asian conditions and go with Rizwan in SENA conditions.

Rizwan has a 40+ average in England, NZ & Australia. Sarfraz average is less than 20 in both NZ & SA, 25 in England & 33 in Australia. These are woeful numbers and he is super old & way past his prime. His keeping itself is beyond horrific.

You want to play him in Asian conditions over Rizwan? Fine. Sarfraz has been amazing batting in SL, Bangladesh, Pakistan & UAE because pace is not much of a factor in those conditions. But in SENA conditions? It makes no sense. These are simple logical decisions and our so called think tank can't even get that right.
Karachi media won't let that happen

Too much defensive approach is gonna cost here u need to score because pitch is not gonna ease out any time

Jamaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal

nice 3, Marsh is hittable... he is bowling all over the place

Lol at salman. He is the most luckiest and undeserving test player pakistan has fielded.

Jamaal stops Cummins in the middle of his run up. Shows him who is boss!

how much pak needs to avoid follow on
I think Aus will bat again even if they are allowed to enforce follow on , just to drag this test for 1 more day.. If they force follow on Pakistan will be bundled out for less than 200 ...

Shan must be preparing for loser speech already well articulated spokesperson of PCB for the tour down under

Amer jamal seems like a tough guy. Should have been in a WC squad
He should’ve been playing last year’s world t20. He had the domestic numbers and performance Vs England in the t20 series

But at least he’s here… a true people’s champ.

I predict babar to fail miserably in this tour. He has become bits and pieces player from last year or so after peaking his best

If only Salman smashes Marsh..

Oh MY God! He is looking for a single to give strike to the Boss Jamaal!

Aussies Commentator Karry o keefe"Any team that can leave out Muhammad Rizwan out of a top six, they are the bad selectors"

Salman playing and missing as if a gully mohalla player got dropshipped to Perth.

Honestly throughout this series you need to smash marsh out of the attack. Starc and Hazlewood are recharging their batteries. Marsh is soo crucial to this setup.

Marsh is such a crap bowler. Cant believe Salman is unable to take him to the cleaners
