Man, Seeing Haris' turn, Zafar would've been lethal here.
Perhaps, but you can get rid of this torture by putting me on your ignore list. Unfortunately, I cannot do anything about the torture of watching Azhar bat.
Not watching the match when he is batting is obviously not an option.
Haris is getting the ball to fizz.
Bowling a little bit quicker and the ball is gripping. Finger spinners are always in the game in UAE.
Like I said...
Not a good idea. He should've stuck with the pacers for another 6 overs. They were bowling with good rhythm and threatening.
Unfortunately it looks like I will have to go through the torture of watching Azhar bat.
Yasir gave Pak the dream start uprooting top order batsmen. It is a team game - it is not his responsibility to take all wickets. Had he been bowling he may have taken some more. As far as runs given is concerned leg spinners always give more runs then others 8/10 times.
Billy's pace is a bit slow for my liking. What do you think?
lots of juice in the wicket Pakistan will definitely have to go big in the first Innings.
Yeah he bowled well in the morning. Drift and turn.
this could be a tight test match. I can see boult and co getting wickets here..we need a lead of a hundred and fifty at least..
You mean Bilal?
Looking at Haris bowl, Zafar Gohar really should have been picked.
Only started watching after his two wickets, but he didn't look at his best. Assume he bowled better early on?
1 word of caution is that tourists to the UAE usually perform better after the 1st test. Hopefully this time is a different story.
Haha yep sorry yar nicks ki adat ho gaye mjhe bhi ..
Though recent Pak vs Aus series tells a totally different story..
Wow, what happen and what would be a good score?
Lol no worries, was just making sure that's who you were referring to.
Coming to your question, perhaps but I think Bilal's biggest problem is because he has only played 25 FC matches he is still learning the art of consistently pitching the ball in the right areas. He gets away with it in the shorter format, but needs to work on it if he wants to succeed in tests. Personally I like Bilal (has some good attributes) and think he should continue to be selected as r/a offie (at the very least for the short to medium term until a younger option is developed).
In the meantime need to add a l/a specialist spinner in the squad at least.
It's a 2 innings game, but I think still Kiwis will need 200+ in 1st innings. Abu Dhabi is a bit extreme - here PAK won a Test after scoring 99 in 1st innings, then almost lost a Test after scoring 543 against same team 4 years later!!!
Wow, what happen and what would be a good score?
