South Africa will bounce back. They have a rich sporting culture and manages to be a top team in spite of a 21 year ban. At home they are still a top side. The Sri Lankan series was a one-off.

In Future they might not invite Pakistan unless they are forced to play them in World Test Championship
 
Haris averages 25 in 7 innings at no 3. He should max bat at 4 if we go by his test stats.
 
To think that posters here believed, Panta was confused about whom to pick between Starc or Pattinson ..............

True. I think we are done and dusted as a cricket nation. People will start losing interest in a few decades. Our best period was between 1970 to 2000. It has all been downhill since.
 
Asad Shafiq plays 1 good innings in every test series. Don’t expect him to do anything on this tour now

Yes but they are still a respected opposition. When they play Australia there will be a lot of intensity, even if the actual games are one sided. Pakistan are now being treated like kids it seems.

To be honest its poor batting from Pak than Starc producing unplayable deliveries.

Pakistan should have insisted for a three test series. Any test series should minimum have 3 test matches. It does not make otherwise to have a series.

Still he took 6 of the 13 so far. There was never any question about picking Starc at Gabba.... and not after current Shield season. In fact, it's Junaids who gave the idea that Starc is useless .....

Thats because conditions of both countries are similar. Aus just lost a series in UAE last year to back up a previous series loss in UAE, lost a test to BD in 2017 and have lost quite a few series in India as well.

So they shouldnt be respected in sub continent? Conditions play a big role. Warner who looks like a giant at home averages less than 30 in every country except SA and UAE where he has just played 2 matches along with BD.
 
Wow. Just checked the score. And I thought I was being optimistic when I predicted 1 down at most.

Aus won a match in India, Bangladesh drawn a test in U.A.E last year without smith,Warner.
What has Pakistan done in SENA countries except England in last three years?
They are getting whitewashed.

We have a game in early morning - Mou is back. Not sure, if I should bunk whole night or not, but Mou might get the guy sacked tomorrow, who beat him to win EPL for MCity. Watch that game - north London's hierarchy has changed.

BD drew the series but they did win one of the matches.

Pak is no 7th in tests for a reason and that is they have been playing poor in home tests as well. If they would have won home series against Srl and NZ they would have been in top 5.

I am not denying Pak’s test struggles but away struggles are for almost every team with maybe India being the only side competing well across the board except in Eng.

Yes Pak is playing one of the worst cricket in SENA countries but then other bottom ranked teams are too struggling their.

North London hierarchy changed around 2013-2014 in my view. As far as Mourinho is concerned, can’t forgive Raul and co. for not taking the call. You don’t say no to a proven winner like him when he is available and you have Emery in charge.

Unless Arsenal get super lucky with someone like Arteta who turns out to be the next big thing, this indecisiveness will cost the club big time.
 
Really want a big partnership between these 2 and see them both get 100s. Won't do anything except allow me smile while watching 2 eye-catching batsmen for a while. The most we can hope for in this situation.
 
Only NZ Eng match is watchable out of the 3 tests going on atm. Even Raju vs Cheema MMA bout yesterday was more exciting than these these trash although ended in less than 6 mins.
 
Babar needs to bat at no 4 in the next match. Asad can come one down and Haris can go to 5 if he plays. Otherwise bring Abid or Imam in:

The best manager these days is BRogers, I am impressed. At Liverpool, he struggled with his defense organization, but at LC, around Ndidi, he has formed the best defensive unit in EPL ........ and defense is what missing in Gunners game, Mou could have been a master stroke, guy plays boring soccer, but knows how to shut down shop. Anyway, have sleep, now - join in morning game.

Result would have been the same. Pak with Younus Misbah, Amir, Wahab and Mickey as head coach also got whitewashed in Australia.

Results have always been the same with the likes of wasim,waqar,imran khan,javes miandae,younis khan etc etc.

I haven't seen a huge amount of Imran before so if what you say is correct he could be a good option. Purely judging by the way he has bowled over the last couple of days I believe he would be a liability in Adelaide.

Also, why would you get rid of Shaheen
