Then we have this bloke here who has some weird issue with Saud Shaqeel, like it makes no sense. Why would you hate Saud in Test cricket? That’s like me hating Kamindu Mendis for no apparent reason.

Absolutely spot on. I have noticed this. Years of playing, they have not produced anyone half as good as Kamindu Mendis. But they judge the quality of Australian batsmen, Indian abtsmen, English batsmen like experts

No I’m not. He’s ranked 7 in the ICC rankings. And he’s a class batsman. A delight to watch on song. And he has scored tough runs for Pakistan on tough decks, so his quality is certified.

He has serious limitations against quality fast bowling on sporting wicket, against short pitch bowling. He can play spin well though.

No one is perfect. They learn to improve. His 84 last match was against good quality pace, swing and seam movement…. plus the pressure his team was under. He’s done it before, he will bank on it to do it again.

He got chance to take the game away from SA but pershed. Softie innings. No innings is magical in a loosing cause. Mominul Haque scored a century in India against India and played gorgeous shots but i dont rate it as it had little impact in that match.

This is called minnow mentality. Really, it is minnow mentality, dont mind please. It reflects how Pakistan cricket has gone down , sorry to see. A 84 runs innings in a loosing cause has been getting serious praise. Look at India. They are producing batsmen like Gill, Pant,Jaishwal and coming who are match winners and can take the game away from opposition at any moment,impact players.

Bangladesh was always a minnow in tests ,T20s and in a big portion in ODIs. We produced only 3-4 quality players to mention until now. So we couldn't get chance to attain mentality beyond minnow. Personally though my ceiling is high.

But you guys are Pakistanis , a great cricket nation producing many greats , attaining great feats. You should never have below expectations.

I don't rate Mominul,Shanto ,Jakir. Loud and clear. They are suited only for the level of quality of Bangladesh test cricket team and what Bangladesh has been playing ,nothing else.

What you wrote about Rizwan being levelled by one Bangladeshi, the same is said by many Pakistanis. So why you are generalising about Bangladeshis only?

About Saud i never said that he is bad, he is good. Thats all. But he is no impact player at all. He cant take the game away against top sides.

Opinions vary. You have to respect others opinions.

Of course but Pakistan batting is a mess since 2017 so we need to be happy with small mercies
