internet is distruptd in major cities and network signals are down , and according to channels PTI candidates almost 90% ahead frm others but wait till morning it will change after rigging at night and you will find rarely any PTI candidates winning .

yes, almost in all major cities, the net service and internet is shutdown .
and while i am writing the results are not announcing officially they are waiting for morning .
even on channels anchors are saying the PTI wining trend is going to change in morning .
 
Interior Ministry says cellular services partially restored across country

The Interior Ministry has said mobile phone services have been partially restored in parts of the country.

Earlier in the day, the ministry said mobile phone and internet services were suspended across Pakistan owing to security threats.

In a post on X a little after 8pm, it said cellular services have been restored in Bhakkar, Sargodha, Taxila, Gujar Khan Chakri, Loralai, Sibi, Jhal Magsi and all of Sindh except Malir and Karachi.

In another post, the ministry said mobile phone services would soon be restored nationwide.

Internet outage will not impact compilation of election results, says CEC Raja

Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja has said internet outages will not impact the compilation of election results, affirming that the electoral watchdog has an “exclusive and independent networking system”.

“I want to clarify that our operations are not reliant on the internet,” he said in an interview.

The CEC further stated that he was content with the execution of elections, saying that the electoral process was “seamless and flawless”.

“The electoral process started on time, and we remain satisfied with the ongoing proceedings. Despite minor issues, our teams swiftly resolved grievances in a short time,” Raja said.

He added that the ECP’s complaint and election management systems were functioning seamlessly and providing information to everyone.

ISPR congratulates nation on ‘peaceful, violence-free’ conduct of elections

The military’s media affairs wing has congratulated the nation on the “generally peaceful and violence-free conduct of general elections”.

In a press release, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said: “The armed forces and other law enforcement agencies “are proud to have played a pivotal role in providing security during the conduct of the sacred electoral process, in aid of civil power, and in accordance with the constitution of Pakistan.”

“With the deployment of 137,000 army personnel and civil armed forces at approximately 6,000 selected most sensitive polling stations and over 7,800 QRFs, a safe and secure environment for the public was ensured,” it said.

The ISPR stated that “51 cowardly terrorist attacks” were reported mostly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan in which 12 people, including 10 security personnel were martyred and 39 others were injured.

“Through proactive intelligence manoeuvres and swift action, many potential threats were neutralised, underscoring the unwavering commitment of our security agencies to protect the democratic rights of our citizens,” it said, adding that five terrorists were killed in various operations.

“The armed forces remain dedicated to upholding peace and security in the country and stand ready to provide unwavering support in safeguarding the democratic traditions of our state,” the ISPR added.

My two hypothesis:

1. The establishment with just 125 individual phone calls can disburse that number to PMLN/PPP in a ratio they see fit. They didn't jail Imran Khan, ban PTI and bring back Nawaz Sharif for no reason.

2. The establishment - as wily as they are for ruling for three quarters of a century's worth - are playing 8D chess by making Imran Khan rise like a phoenix from the Ashes, so the population will grow fond of them again, for getting their 'messiah' out of prison and back into the PM's chair. When the time comes, they will make their next move.
 
Asim Munir will do anything to get what he wants. PML N has not invested in him for nothing. Will we see a repeat of the 1971 situation if the establishment drastically changes the results?

Ground reality is different most TV anchors are getting subdued yet they have a sheepish smile, what should the people do now even after voting for PTI

PMLN is also surprized with such results but u r right magic stick can do wonders anytime for them.

The only province I would ever count on to 'rebel' in that sense would be KPK. But they are currently outnumbered by Punjab/Sindh, which was hardly the case with Bangladesh.
 
There are actually some massive upsets.

I wonder how the results will come in though.

i have different one, since nawaz is not trust worthy with his words, and already showing antics to PA .
the PA is looking for other option like Jahangir Taren , with 80/90 seats of PTI they can form some coalation govt where Jahangir Taren will lead all of them .
 
while i am writing this , according to some reports the ECP chairman has been called to pay visit by Aliens at midnight .
so it will be miracle if PTI get lead of even 20 seats till morning .
but its duffers Aliens we are talking about .

Nawaz sharif is going to raiwind from his model town lahore residence.
means no Victory speech for him tonite. i dont know just guessing .

Results are not coming . this is the only update we are getting . shame on PA and all .

How is it possible to manipulate the entire media and the entire country?
This is literally fooling the nation. What a farce of an election it is, with the main opponent's leader sent to jail.
It's like thieves are sharing their loot.(n)

It shows that the common Pakistani people are not showing interest in questioning the system.
I don't see any resistance from the public.

Most people believe PTI has won. They arent being fooled.

We will see tomorrow what actually happens in terms of resistance.

The public have resisted in open view with a huge turnout & vote in favour of Imran Khan . You cannot imprison an idea.

It’s going to be very difficult to officially confirm anything but a majority for the PTI backed independents .

The Generals will be having phone calls with US & China/Russia . If its better for their future to switch to PTI they will & declare the true outcome . Nawaz & Zardari are mere puppets in this show .

This is a historic night in Pakistani history , all their acclaimed tv dramas together cannot match the anticipation of what is to come soon
 
ISPR has spoken saying troops are there for security. Bhai, there was no need to shut down the network
 
Munir, NS and AZ need to realise that PK have spoken loudly and very clear. Despite the rigging, torture and murder we have stood bravely( not me because sitting here in the UK,I have done bugger all) and fought the battle and won
 
A number of the defectors from PTI coalition appear to be humilated badly.

Some big names from noon and qaf are in deep trouble too.
 
Lets be real here although I am glad this happened this was the most worst rigging possible.

I wonder what their aims and expectations were?

What was the point in reporting the results fairly and then trying a uturn.

PPP appear to be riggling away from the mess here. Bilawal questioning whats going on for example.

Family dynasties are never loyal to others esp if they have a history of beef . There was talk of PPP willing to join with PTI to form a joint government against any Nawaz large vote . Now they must be begging to join .

Nawaz now only has the general to turn to who is supposed to be his fan but he will switch with an insurance of immunity & possibly allowed to continue or he’s not sober

Billo messed up. Billlo joined the wrong crowd. They had nothing on him,he could asked daddy to retire and joined IK and then he wouldn't have looked so foolish. For all her shortcomings, BB would never have joined these crooks

Imran rejected AZ in the past.

It will be a massive shock if they align. Especially with the way Imran and PTI mock Bilawal...but this is Pakistan so who knows.
 
I am not in Pakistan but most of my family moved back. This is the first time I have heard such blatant disregard for PMLN, particularly maryam and nawaz.

I am not averse to working with Billo on constitutional stuff. Join hands and pass a constitutional amendment on the COAS. Ban extensions altogether. IK messed up with Bajwas extension, we all thought he was sincere but he was a crook.
 
Why does a party need a 2/3 majority to win? 50% should be enough.

Rigging will happen but for how long. NS stands humiliated and so does Munir. Any guy with ghairat would resign and beg for forgiveness. All those murders, torture and kidnappings will haunt them for ever. Look at Gullu Butt today and you see a guy that can't eat. Allah is just, their time will come

Imran will reject them but interesting they are panicking after making a pre planned deal .

The election commission is likely arguing with PLMN its near impossible to change the results so much which is needed . They are probably being threatened & coerced . PTI should send a communication advising them to be open & trurtful in exchange for protection & possibly immunity.

In such circumstances Pakistanis will mainly care about saving their own backsides , as said no honour among thieves
