There is enough spin on offer for Taijul to win the match for the Bangladesh.
 
Anything under 200 Pakistan is in for a win. Over 200 will take some chasing.

I saw the pitch map of Taijul of that innings. It was really amazing. All the balls on the good length ball and almost same spot, middle and off.

Qadir isn't bad either. He can become a very good spinner if he can land the balls on good areas. He has all the balls in his armory..

If they get 200 + that would definitely be uncomfortable. But even with their current lead of 160, that's already a bit uncomfortable. I still remember when Pakistan failed to chase 130ish runs against Sri Lanka in Dubai, back in 2018 I think. :danish
 
Nurul Hassan is looking to play shots here , if he can get quick 25 runs here , it can hurt Pakistan
 
Taijul going to be man of the match.

Lead is already beyond pakistans chasing capability against taijul.

Well I think the only threat from Bangladesh would be from Taijul. If they play him well, and try to attack the others, Pak may chase whatever Bangladesh set.

Whatever happened to the Fizz, doesn't seem to be in the team. Not sure if he doesn't play Tests anymore. He would have been handy on a worn out wicket with his cutters.
 
Very poor captaincy from Babar. Persist with Sajid!!! Bangladesh will give more than 250 target.
 
Next match we should play 5 fast bowlers. Our spinners are rubbish apart from Shadab
 
I can't believe Pakistan have let it slide since their gargantuan opening partnership.

Good to see you back. I kinda miss the BD posters of the forum lol. Used to be a lot of them in the past and some used to be boisterous but it was all good fun and banter.

The BD cricket forum seems to be dead these days and there are very few BD posters in the cricketing section nowadays in this forum as well. Had me fearing if cricket was dying in Bangladesh.
 
Pakistan should back themselves to chase anything under 250. If they can't, then they deserve to lose and get humiliated. Can't always rely on bowlers to be the work horses for softie batters.

Yes the BD cricket forum is dead. Which is sad....

Cricket isn't dying any time soon over here. If...and thats a very big if - Bangladesh win this test match - the country will forget all about WC T20.

And that is the issue with us....
 
Pakistan and Bangladesh teams need to practice taking reviews now too.
 
Pakistan clearly under estimated Bangladesh in their conditions

Nah, it's a big if, but if Bangladesh manage to miraculously win the test, it would be a bigger achievement than whatever they could have achieved in the world T20. I value Test cricket more and fans would be right to celebrate if Bangladesh win the game. But it's a huge if, because I'm not sure if the Bangladeshi bowlers would be potent enough to get Pakistan all out except Taijul. Shakib and Fizz in the team would've been a different matter though.

Has Bangladesh even won a test against Pakistan before?
 
But BD would need a minimum of 250 to think about winning imo, which would require Liton to play out of his skin.

Let's see what Pakistani batters do here, last time W.I chased 395 on the same ground if I'm not wrong.
 
Just bowl Hassan Ali to the 10/11, why giving them a chance to smash the spinners for 6s??
 
Pakistan needs to be positive against Taijul. Play the sweeps, reverse sweeps if possible but don't let him settle into a nice comfortable rhythm
 
As much as everyone hates Abid Ali (Including me) his wicket is going to be crucial, if Bangla can get him early on they will win the game.
 
Time for Bangladesh to get there first win off Pakistan. I am all for it. Lets see History being made! LETS GO TIGERS! MIGHTY MIGHTY TIGERS!!!
 
I was hoping to keep it to 170 to win max
202 is an extra 15 overs of batting which is a lot.
Need to be positive Vs the new ball.
Anybody's game, but hopefully BD will bottle

It is a below par score.

With these 2 below average pacers we got this total don't look ideal to defend. If Pakistan is able to negotiate Taijul they can win easily.
