Pakistan will begin Day 2 on 161/2, with Babar Azam (60*) and Azhar Ali (36*) at the crease.

What first innings score will they target?

Anyone with an eye on weather for day two?
How does the weather look for the day?

Will be interesting to see what score pakistan finish with for their first innings, I feel Bangladesh might bowl really well today

Play will not start on time due to a rain in Dhaka...

Wish Azhar gets out early today otherwise he will waste too many balls.

Update:

Rain stopped.
Official inspection at 10:40 (Bangladesh time).

And it's raining again! Inspection is delayed until further notice

Reminder that Pakistan are 161/2

Update:

Early lunch taken at Sher-E-Bangla cricket stadium due to rain.

Lunch from 11:30 to 12:10 (Bangladesh time)

Update:

Play will resume at 12:50 (Bangladesh time).

Play has started

PAK 172/2 (60.1) CRR: 2.86

Rain stops play again - looks heavier now.

Forecast is not looking good. It is supposed to rain today, tomorrow, and the following day.

Update:

Day two called off due to persistent rain and wet out field.
Day three will start at 9:30am (local time).

Looking at the weather forecast Pak maybe should have elected to bowl first. Much easier to pick 20 wickets in a shortened match that way.

This will affect their WTC final chances big time, can't afford to drop points in Bangladesh especially after the 1-1 result in West Indies.

Looking at the forecast, the probability of getting any play tomorrow is negligible. continuous drizzle expected throughout the day.

Pakistan are lucky the rain gods have come to their aid and ensuring they do not succumb to a certain defeat :shakib

Wish Azhar gets out early today otherwise he will waste too many balls.

His unnecessary inns of slowness will come back to haunt Pakistan when they draw this test match.

Rubbish player, after playing so many tests, still plays like a tailender against a weak bowling attack. Also after scoring 100 runs he will play like he is new to the crease.

He just hit a 4, now he is gone into snooze mode for another 10 overs. The guy is a pain to watch.

Hope he is questioned by the team management for an inns like that when there is no such need to play when the openers have give a solid start and after being at the crease for hours.
