Brook is the best young batsman in the world, he will surpass the likes of Babar, Labuschagne etc. within a year or two across all formats.

Only Brevis can be at his level among the new generation of batsmen.

These wickets for Zahid are a disaster. Now they'll be able to justify selecting the worst spinner in Pakistan and keep playing him!
 
England already have enough on the board. If they declare now they will win by 100+ runs.

Do you really think Pak batters other than Babar can play at pace required for win?
 
Goading on Pakistan and giving them a sniff here is the whole point. Only chance of bowling them out on such a flat pitch with their defensive approach

Pakistan isn’t getting bowled out by this England bowling attack in 75 overs, they need to declare at the right time.

Highest 4th innings chase ever in Pak is 314/9 and the current Pak team scores at a 44 strike rate, overs get lost to bad light. Game is not far off being safe at 296, England are doing well here.

Why Pakistan.mever play out smart ??

Your spinners are already being smashed all over the park.

Why don't they use fast bowlers and consume time and save themselves, why is there no smartness in the group.
Clearly we lost final due to lack of awareness and now again showing lack of game awareness.

England could have easily played slowly and Draw the test however they're here for win, and hopefully the win in the end, Pakistan winning from here won't be good for the game.
 
Brook is fantastic and one of the best in the world when conditions suit him but in Aus he was all at sea. He’s played so much in pakistan he seems like a subcontinent batsman on steroids. I’m not sure he’ll succeed in all conditions

It's the way to play.

The mindset of playing for draws is lame and should be a last resort when no other option is available.
 
Saqlain and Yousuf should take classes from Eng management, this is utterly ridiculous McCullum should be used as visiting consultant at NCA

It'll come apart soon. In India SA and Australia they won't win a Test.

Lol, only the end-result. If England declare now and end up losing the match you have to praise Pakistan, not England. And you don't know if playing slow will suit these english batters in these conditions.

But if England defend this total later on they will be the deserving winners.
 
England have outclassed Pakistan in T20s and being outclassed now in Test cricket
 
This has to be worst team selection by Pakistan in recent times.. i do not know whats wrong with Saqlain Mushtaq.. does nt seem to be coaching material at all.. pathetic is the only word.. how do you play 2 t20 bowlers and 2 debutants against Bazball Team in test cricket? Saqalain calling Saud Shakeel an all rounder is insult to all rounders... you have walking wicket in Name of Azhar Ali.. looks pathetic while batting even if he scores runs.. so half of your team is bunch of DUDS .. you are going against England with 5 proper test players..this is painful to watch
