Chance to complete a whitewash but can they do it?
 
I personally feel that mohd hafeez is still required by Pakistan. He has better hitting abiltiy than some players we have in ODI. I think he should replace imad or nawaz once he clears his action. If not then Umar akmal should bat at no.6.
 
Sohail Khan is good seam bowler i would have him than wahab riaz, unless we are playing in Australia.

We need to find a good leggie soon, as we are struggling to find a good spinner, after ajmal.

Amad butt is any good hitter?
 
WI wil be lucky to cross 200.

No ODI team should have names like Kraigg Brathwaite, and Darren Bravo. I guess WI needs them so that they can score a respectable 200.

He is not even going for retesting even though he has been cleared to do since July.
 
The age of Babar Azam.....

He will turn 22 on 15th October. And he played in 2009 under 19 tri series at the age of 15!LOL.Subcontinent countries are master of making anybody younger.

Sohail will be better than Wahab even in Australia. Don't get misguided by that only one showdown against Watson. Sohail khan is very unlucky to be sidelined.

Assuming the series in 2009 was held after Oct, he turned 15 in 2009, 16 in 2010, 17 in 2011, 18 in 2012, 19 in 2013, 20 in 2014 and 21 in 2015 and 22 in 2016.

See no discrepancy in the ages. Looks like you were trying to find a way to put him down and failed by epic proportions.

He was never dropped. He was either injured or rested for ODIs.

Azhar Ali is so pathetically rigid. Every match he starts with Imad hasn't had any success in three tries but keeps on doing it.
 
Solid start here by W.I which means Pakistan will maybe have to work hard for victory for 1st time in series rather then 1 sided cake walks that have occurred so far.
 
Nice shot for 4 by lewis, sohail has bowled a few hit me balls in this inns so far.

You also failed to understand my post in epic proportion.No, i wasn't trying to find any discrepancy in calculations.Just pointed out that his age has been decreased much than his actual age as like many cricketers of subcontinent. A 15 years old cricketer is playing for a top international side in under 19 level and became the highest run getter in that series is hard to believe.

Bhai jaan Babar Azam has been playing age group cricket since 12 years old. When a 16 year old Sachin can play international cricket and start excelling, a 15 year old Babar can't play u19 cricket and do well?

Sohail khan is leaking too many runs. Give the ball to someone else, let him bowl when they lose a wicket.

Sohail is clearly not on Amirs level though. Too many loose deliveries. Amir and Hasan should open the bowling for us in LOIs

That's quite a good SR - less than 35. 1.4 wickets/ODI actually is well over average.

It doesn't work like that - apart from Aamir, Sohail is the best new ball bowler.

So far out of 9 times that Azhar has crossed 70, PAK has managed to win once against ZIMBOKs. Let's see, today WI can beat the usual or not.
 
Can someone explain the logic behind the rule that the ball can't pitch outside leg stump for an LBW, but okay if it pitches outside off stump? Why is that rule there? I have never understood this.

Azhar played a decent knock today so if we lose itll just be coincidence. Against England his 90 plus knocks were katch losing I agree

Funny thing is, he is their only hope to chase this target. Rest are just Test players.
 
Lewis gone bowled. He was struggling against the swinging ball coming back into him.

Unfair for the batsman. Say youre a right hander batting on a turner against a leggie. He hits a rough patch a foot outside your leg stump and it goes on to hit your pad while keeping a bit low. That surely should not be given out
 
We removed their Sharjeel but lets not dismiss their Azhar Ali.. will help us in winning this match

Statistically decent, but not by context. PAK couldn't put 350 because of over No. 15 to 25 & 40 to 50. Last match, 339 was possible not because of late order slog, rather the scoring rate in middle overs. That's today's cricket, when 300 is just per. There is another match going on - check how Aussies posted 371 & how much the slogged in last 10.
 
Good captaincy Azhar keeping Sohail going despite him being pounded! Hes learning.

What a poor and biased comment by Waqar, saying that he is not sure if Sohail can be as effective as Amir in the late overs, lol, the fact is Sohail is better than Amir in the death overs.

Have to look at the conditions too tbh. Im watching Amla bat right now and the ball is coming on beautifully, noundaries are smaller and outfield is lightning
 
The SA vs Australia game looks as if its going to be a really good one. Watch both simultaneously

but why is that not the same with an off spinner? yes, most off spinners don't turn as much as leg spinners but i think we've all seen balls spin like crazy outside the off stump when the ball hits the rough there. so why the different rules for pitching outside off vs. leg stump in terms of LBW?
 
The worm favors Pakistan-we're way ahead at this point, but still need regular breakthroughs.
 
W.I 50/1 after 12 overs

Interesting to see if W.I can improve there batting in overs 11-40 and rotate strike better and play spinners better then they have in other games.
