Pakistan tour of South Africa : 3 formats - 3 losses!

As expected Pakistan were beaten in Tests, but they were also defeated in ODIs and T20Is.

Losing in ODI was bad because a WC is coming up, but the loss in T20s was very bad as Pakistan is ranked no.1.

Only positive were Babar and Shan Masood. Shan should have been given chances in ODIs.

2nd odi - mother duas were too much

Overall we have fought quite hard but couldn’t capture the little moments which made difference

The good thing is that at least pakistan didn't fluke a series win.
Good that they are getting exposed. Necessary changes should be made now.
But we all know how the PCB works. Same hacks will play in the next series.

Ajmal yes, chucker but was clever. However, no use in SA.

Gul and Ajmal are GOAT in T20s and that was the only series we won there.

Gul and junaid were at the peak of their powerd at that time. Gul had picked up a 5for in the t20 and junaid won Pakistan the match in final over when he defended some 7-8 runs against Miller. Irfan, Ajmal were part of the team too.

We have been poor in this series no doubt but we haven't played that that badly. We have been close in all limited overs games baring 5th odi and in test series we shouldve won the first test.
Having said that though I feel that coming close and then losing is a concern in itself as it means we have a lack of ability to finish matches off. Need to fix this before world cup as it has become a trend now in all 3 formats. We come close and then collapse.

Jokes part, losing in SA is not unexpected, but current SA team is pretty weak in shorter formats. SA test team has problems, but shorter format teams has bigger problems.

If Pakistani selectors learn their lessons and make necessary replacements, they will be strong favorites to win WC.
Good that they lost. Should be an eye opener.
