They’re showing some intent today but they can’t even get their timing right against UAE pacers, clearly are not good enough at this level.

How about selecting Abdul Qadir from the reserves? 7th highest run scorer but played 2 matches less than others and batted at 137 S/R , hit 5 fours and 13 sixes in total.

Ali Hasan might be talented but is extremely timid player and shouldn't be in the lineup as well , catch dropped off him as he played a half executed unsure shot as I type this.

Don't want another Abdullah Shafiq type anxious player making it big.

If you have these top 4 in the batting lineup then expect to lose every game against any decent side.

Ali Hasan played another unsure shot as I type this.

But what good when his batting is not even tailender level
Ahmed Hussain also bats like no.9/10 but he is the 2nd highest run scorer of U19 league , There is no talent coming in Pak unfortunately.

To be honest I thought Hamza Zahoor was a parchi but seeing his keeping skills I am pretty sure that he got selected due to no other decent Keeper at the U19 level who can bat as well and keep decently as well.

We should revive PJL and give incentives for youth to take interest in cricket otherwise we will become associate level team in next 5 years.

And it's understandable why youth taking no interest in cricket because there first priority is to bring food on the table and becoming an U19 player or Club player or even FC player will only give them a dark future.

It's like watching paint getting dried i am sure we have better cricketers in our local village teams looks like these guys never handled a bat before

Next level tuk tuk from our young boys.... Looks like they are facing mcgrath and brett lee.

Any time they are trying to play big shot resulting in a wicket , just let them Tuk Tuk and enjoy , pretty sure not a single batter from this lot will going to make it even at FC level.

True.... Pakistan boys are mentally weak... they are always playing in their shells..
They played that U19 tournament on a low bounce wicket against non professional college drop outs and now they are playing on a Gabba drop in pitch at Dubai with a trained UAE U19 team, they never played under such conditions before and against a professionally trained team so no wonder they don't have the confidence to play there shots.

They turned him in to an offspinner may be due to lack of pace.
really on cricinfo it said medium pacer .need pace all rounder from some where. Obv there is NO talent in this team here is India about to score their second 400 runs with different batters and here we are pretty sad.

Who selected these players in pakistan side???? Looks like I'm watching women cricket. Even they are more powerful than these malnourished players of pakistan. Look at the Talent in other sides like India have Suryavanshi, Mhatre, Bangladesh have Abrar. They look natural stroke player and powerful players. Pakistan have not even a single batter who looked promising.

This has to be the worst set of under-19 batsmen I have seen for a long time.

The previous batch was so good and no surprise they are dominating domestic cricket right now

This is why I don't like bowlers who can't hold a bat or field. Ali raza batting is as awful it has been since pjl and so is his fielding.

Looks like UAE going to win this as they have a huge betting depth and Pak rightly deserve a loss here as batting wise they are even less talented than an associate nation this time around.

Boyses are going to win this now, but have no hope from them in the next round, Ind, BD and SL all have much better batting line ups. Unless the bowling performs extra ordinarily and restricts the teams to 200 odd scores this team has no chance. The batting last WC with Shamyl, Azan, Baig, Minhas etc although not world class by any means was miles better,

The previous batch were like superstars compared to these no talent jokers playing in the current team as batters.

Absolute garbage.

Absolute garbage.
The last batch attended 9 months training camp and trained extensively for PJL plus they had more exposure at U19 level due to foreign tours, comparetively the current batch had nothing.
