Totally agree with you. afridi is a bowler who can bat, malik is a batsman who can bowl and Akmal is a wicket keeper batsman. so only 4 specialist batsman.

Malik at 4 is fine! Akmal should have been dropped ages ago!

Afridi being used as part of a top 6 batting line up is just pathetic!

Hilfenhaus, Bracken, Clark, and Hauritz are the specialists, whilst Hopes, Symonds, and Clarke will make up the 5th bowler

On paper Pakistan have nothing to fear from this bowling attack!

A rather long tail for Pakistan today starting at number 8. In fact some would say the tail starts at number 6 :)

I really do think we miss a pace bowling genuine all rounder in the side - Abdul razaaq at his best. Someone who could come in at 6 or 7 and bowl their quota of 10 overs.

Shahid Afridi is a pathetic excuse for an all-rounder. Either play him or Ajmal.

Why is the selection team so dumb!?

Havent seen much of Ajmal? Is he an offspinner? PPers pls enlighten me..

constructive criticism of Akhtar by Boycott.

And well deserved too. Akhtar no doubt has been unprofessional and his own enemy in comparison to Wasim and Waqar. As usual, the feeling of nervousness and tension seeing Akhtar play yet again.

Clark's a good bowler and Bracken's done well in his odi career. We should be able to destroy the others though.

i have a feeling ajmal is gonna make us lose this match
having a specialist spinner really messes up the balance.
these guys are stuck in the 90's

Actually it is a mouth watering prospect to see Akthar bowl at full throttle after a long gap. Too bad I am stuck in office :(

The guys are on the field. Shoaib and Gul ready to go full throttle. Yippee.

Saqi-like with an offspinner that turns quite a bit as well as an effective doosra (especially effective against the tail). The few times I've seen him he's tended to struggle with his length, often pitching too short.

This is a big opportunity for him.

yes with a decent doosra

Thanks mate...Pak has the looks of a balanced attack then. The only trick they missed is not having a left arm swing bowler in Tanveer. Time will tell whether it was a bad move or not..

They are one or two batsmen short with Afridi comming up at no 7, as such its a VERY long tail, and one good spell can destroy this Pak batting lineup

just hope that RAO doesny get smacked :)

Unlikely..with big hitters like Watson, Symonds and Haddin. You better support him with your prayers :)

True, but the question is which Australian bowler would bowl it? Offlate their bowling attack doesnt inspire much confidence..and Mitch is absent now.

Not sure about the yellow colour on the pak jerseys white would have been better

I just saw MIG!

Wearing a vest & dhoti - with a handkerchief on his head!

I wonder if ball will move around under lights later with the Dew?

Shoaib akhtar looking khata pita as allways

where are commentators? helloooooooooooo is anybody here able to hear anything?
