cant he bloody play an innings.....cant he defend.....what example is he setting for the others as a captain....a big fail when it comes to batting..

That's how he bats, for god's sake. It's not as if we were going to even win from that stage. It's how he bats, it doesn't matter where or when he comes in to bat, he'll play that way. Don't say you expected him to bat differently, you didn't.

By the way, as crazy as this may sound but I'd remove Farhat and have Afridi open the batting - he can play his natural game from the openers position!!!
 
and ppl were blaming nervous looking young shahzaib for getting out to hussey in a t20 match. And here our chaheetas umar and now dumb afridi have given their wickets to even more inexperienced part time bowler in tets inng........yeh tau doob marnay ka maqam hay.........

Afridi should be stripped of captaincy & dropped from the test squad after this match. Only public humiliation will show Afridi how stupid that shot was. I don't care if Butt has to be captain next test match!
 
Didn't expect Pak to win, but at least put some pressure on the Aussies. Afridi has taken away what little enjoyment this match had.

I feel for Butt his concentration and effort in this match has been immaculate but has all gone to waste thanks to akmal and afridi
 
yeh khel nehi hai yeh janoon heh....that advert is doing my head in, but I bet that's what Afridi was thinking just before....

Atleast the players will get more shopping time if they finish games in 3 or 4 days.
 
Have to say if afridi bats like this in the 2nd test his position will be in major doubt. Has to take some time and play more selectively.
 
its not that afridi doesnt score and gets out.....its the way in which he gets out pisses me off....hes the captain needs to be more responsible in his approach....this wont workk...
 
The best thing that can come out of this defeat is younus's possible return.
