Adil Raza looks the best prospect, he swings the ball and bowls around 135-140. He uses seam position very well and makes some interesting changes to fool batsmen so it's not a surprise that he is taking so many wickets.

Rameez is quick but he doesn't look threatning for some reason (i might be wrong as i watched him bowl for only 3-4 overs).

Imad has just taken an important wicket of Steven Smith so Aussies are 6 down. Imad looks a very good bowler as well. He has interesting action and gives the ball good flight, has good variety.

Azhar Attari has done well but he is just a line and length medium pace bowler. I don't think he will be highly effective on sub continent pitches but his line and length has been impressive.

Imad bowls another Aussie so 7 down and it shouldn't be a HUGE task to chase this total.

My 1st time watching Imad.....I love this guy! Good captain, great field placing and more importantly....very good ODI bowler!!!

Very impressive with Imad ,good prospect for PCB to destroy like they had done to many others.

He can bat a bit too. He has bowled really well but i think his real test will come against the Indian batsmen.

We have to beat Aus and then SAF before we get there! :)

Sifarshi? Please elaborate!
:D
A few months ago, he was criticised by some posters for being a sifarshi, but his performances have hardly supported that claim

so its clear our youngsters have the talent, all they need is a good naii to groom them and they should be able to graduate to the senior side.

Did the poster give the basis of sifarish? Who was/is he related to? I think, so far he looks the best prospect for the national (sr) side! The way he is carrying himself......I am really really impressed!

Dropped an easy one there. i dont know who it was.

Umar Akmal looks exactly like Kamran Akmal

i guess it runs in the family dropped catches that is

It was off his bowling, so for a change an Akmal knows how it feels to have a catch dropped.

9th wicket down, run out

i have been asking that question for half an hour :9:

I guess...wickets are/were falling at regular intervals....so there was no need.....may be!

well they were 71-7 and now they are 117-9 so 46 runs for 2 wickets on such a poor pitch is a bit too much for mine.

All aussies look decent with the bat...Smith who was batting at 8/9 used to open for Aus and averaged 40+ in a recent series against Pak.

Agree......seems like very defensive captaincy! He gets 13 overs form part timers (Umar and Ahmed) instead of brining seamers early!

Adil Raza looks more like a windies bowler. his action and run-up is pure caribbean

Not a big total to chase but could be quite tricky. Need a solid opening stand. Will be interesting.

Umar Akmal long overdue for runs! Hope today is the big day!

Exactly, Although he aint got that pace ,but never the less good young prospect.

I dont see any match on either of the links?

Its innings break. Match will start in about 25-30 minutes.

Great to see Muhammad Rameez's pace increases quite a bit ,last time I see him he was hardly bowling at 80mph.

Azhar Attari doesnt belong to our U19 side ,but the negative and defensive influence even at our U19 level leaves no choice to include him.

I've been up all night, im only staying up to seem ahmed Shazah and Umar Akmal bat. They better fire today!

should be an interesting run-chase. Pakistan's batting line has been as brittle as it can get.

very good prospect. He gets movement off the seam and he has potential to be quite nippy.

he is only playing because Aamer is injured

Mercanary i know but even before the innings break Geo was up but they were showing news no match though?

But he never really belong to our 14 men squad either ,we should have selected more aggresive and pacier bowler than him.

Whats the latest on Muhammad Amir ,is he going to play semis(ofcourse if we wins this one)

I took a day off from work(called sick) to fix up quite a few things before going to Pakistan next week but ended up staying home just to watch our young talent and they haven't disappointed us. I am more interested in watching our batsmen (Shehzad and Akmal in particular). So i hope they fire today and make my day :)
May need to call sick again tomorrow :(

What a shot by Umar.....seems like today is the day!

Slapped away by Umar...another 444444444444

Umar Akmals favorit cricket is Kamran Akmal :)))

another 4 for Umar. looks more like a wild slogger to me
