We wanted Naumanulllah to be given a chance. As Saj said on the commentary it was a "stupid" decision to send Yousuf ahead of Namuan, Misbah and YES even Afridi.
off topic: Ever played with a group of guys over n over again for long period of time and you not have any say within the team selection...batting order etc? Everyone in that room realizes everything we know here....however WE are the ones who have no clue why that guy isn't out in the middle...I am sure Malik who is in the middle decided or ordered for nauman not come in next :)

MISBAH reverse sweeps for FOUR, deft touch, races away...

4 or 5 out of the top order could take the decision to smack each and every ball out of the park...

Malik came in at #5 yaar. He could have easily sent Misbah or Nauman ahead of both himself and Yousuf.

Arun Lal would have been ecstatic if he saw that eagle having dinner
287-5 after 46 overs

Misbah pulls well for FOUR, through square leg, bisects the fielders

Might break the shackles?

And next ball, flicked for FOUR... all run!

great running from Malik, thats one department of his game that he has perfected!

Malik makes room and launches it through extra cover for 4, awesome shot :19:

STUMPED next ball

Naumanullah to come. Finally.

314/6 off 48 overs.

35 off 22 balls.

well played; never looked in a hurry and still scored at that strike rate.

Asif Bradman in.

I think he's looking for a 265 off 1 ball.

Brutally worked away by Asif for a couple, he's sending shivers down Bangalis all over the world

Majestic straight drive for a single, struck with furious power, and precise timing

gets a single!

ASIF BACK ON STRIKE :D

I feel sorry for the bowlers!

I now officially dub Asif as an all-rounder.

Arise Mr All-rounder, and make your way up the all-rounder rankings and decimate these so called All-rounder’s such as Symonds or Afridi!!

He's really improved with the bat since his lay-off!

Asif is spot on so far. I don't wanna be too hasty but it looks like he's as good as ever.

As far as iam concerned Akmal dropped another one
The ball bounced about 5 yards in front, what in the world are you talking about?!

Aseef swinging the ball both ways, he's back for good... fingers crossed!

7/0

Sadly

Not looking forward to it.

But when you've given your word.....
I hope Afridi bowls in that period, I'm relying on you to come up with some brutal descriptions for his bowling as well. :D

Gul bowling at 137.5 k's.

I miss the Umar Gul we saw in India, bowling consistently at 90MPH and occasionally touching 93MPH. Thats at his peak fitness; I sincerely hope he's back to that soon.

Bangladesh looking to consolidate in the first 45 overs...then open up in the last 5 overs - or something like that :31:
