Oh well we'll get to see Shafiq bat at least, Umar is very unlucky.

Kuch bhi bolneka kya? All within the rules...as Rameez said something Amin will remember for the rest of his life.Poison said:That is poor sportsmanship by Bangladesh, if Amin is out here they've proved to be a rubbish team.

Mahmudullah to Umar Amin, 1 run, OUT, driven to long-off for one. Bizarre scenes here. Not quite in the spirit of the game. He has completed the single, goes back to the other side of the stumps because Mahmud is bowling round the stumps. While doing that, however, his bat is in the air, and Mahmud whips the bails and appeals for the run-out. They go to the third-umpire, and they can't do much once the team appeals. But common sense anybody?
There was nothing lame about it....except that the bat was in the airShehryarK said:What a lame, classless and pathetic thing to do by the Bangladeshis....!
You heard of sportsmanship mate? Hope you get some of your own medicine soon we will see how you feel than.rubel_18 said:Whats it with you and taking the **** out of Bangladesh all the time, if you dont like them fine but no need for calling them idiots, its your players fault for being careless.

it was not in good spirit he grounded his bat and than proceeded to go to the other side because bowler was bowling from that end but the lame ****s scored a cheap one.mindless slogging said:Why?
They did everything within the rules of the game. All of that applies to Umar Amin, but you're saving your frustration for him because he is inexperienced.
If this was Butt, he would've been slaughtered.
) It's called presence of mind.Poison said:Mate it's called 'spirit of the game'! Well I suppose BD should be exempt from that rule given they aren't really ever 'in the game' as such.
WNC said:Yeah, but they're desperate for wickets and he looked solid out there, that's the good thing. Reminiscent of Salman's carelessness against the same team in 07.

I have not seen that because of not having power over here. watching cricinfo live score updates and Cricinfo Stuff who are actually Indians are also saying that it not good for the spirit of the Game.. Here is what Cricinfo says : Mahmudullah to Umar Amin, 1 run, OUT, driven to long-off for one. Bizarre scenes here. Not quite in the spirit of the game. He has completed the single, goes back to the other side of the stumps because Mahmud is bowling round the stumps. Now Mr. Rubel Do you really have Cricketing sense? Or just a blind fan Of Bangladesh cricket where Only Tamim is providing Some World class Quality of batting and rest are coming from Diary Firm?

By the way, you missed a fantastic innings by Shahzaib!
Yes on Umar Amin's part it is but it's called not within spirit of the game in regards to Bangladesh's actions.tdigi said:) It's called presence of mind.
If he's completed the run and is merely moving to the other side, it is crass and classless to appeal. Sure, it be within the letter of the law but throughout the history of cricket, many things have been within the rules but were not considered sporting and thus not within the spirit of the game - for instance, at one stage, under-arm bowling, and even now, appealing for a wicket for a batsman handling the ball (happens all the time, is a clear out if appealed for, but not sporting to appeal for it unless your name is Sarfraz).mindless slogging said:Why?
