Unlucky...? More so idiotic.

no he grounded the bat and it was casual walking not the best spirit by bangla players.

Sorry fine sir, it's just that Shahzaib looks tailender-ish when he's trying to defend; I bet a certain Mule had a few words in his ear

:younis
Bless him!

Stupid Amin and quite CHEAP one by Bengali bowler.

He was playing so well and gave it away, should teach him a huge lesson.

Arrrrrrrrrgh

The fact they even appealed for that shows how desperate a side they are. Idiots.

Oh well we'll get to see Shafiq bat at least, Umar is very unlucky.

It just shows they were clever.

What a lame, classless and pathetic thing to do by the Bangladeshis....!

That is poor sportsmanship by Bangladesh, if Amin is out here they've proved to be a rubbish team.
Kuch bhi bolneka kya? :110: All within the rules...as Rameez said something Amin will remember for the rest of his life.

from cricinfo
Mahmudullah to Umar Amin, 1 run, OUT, driven to long-off for one. Bizarre scenes here. Not quite in the spirit of the game. He has completed the single, goes back to the other side of the stumps because Mahmud is bowling round the stumps. While doing that, however, his bat is in the air, and Mahmud whips the bails and appeals for the run-out. They go to the third-umpire, and they can't do much once the team appeals. But common sense anybody

Whats it with you and taking the **** out of Bangladesh all the time, if you dont like them fine but no need for calling them idiots, its your players fault for being careless.

Umar doing a misbah, Are there any run out opportunities left which our players haven't generated?

Amin needed a big score here for his own confidence chalo England it will have to be.

Shafiq gets off the mark, from what I've seen of him he seems to be a good accumulator.

You heard of sportsmanship mate? Hope you get some of your own medicine soon we will see how you feel than.

sorry, but that was a obvious example of cheating there by shakib since he was watching the whole thing and i think he called for the replay.

Have to say Bangladesh conduct with the appeal was truely Pathetic!

Why?

They did everything within the rules of the game. All of that applies to Umar Amin, but you're saving your frustration for him because he is inexperienced.

If this was Butt, he would've been slaughtered.

Mate it's called 'spirit of the game'! Well I suppose BD should be exempt from that rule given they aren't really ever 'in the game' as such.

Yeah, but they're desperate for wickets and he looked solid out there, that's the good thing. Reminiscent of Salman's carelessness against the same team in 07.

it was not in good spirit he grounded his bat and than proceeded to go to the other side because bowler was bowling from that end but the lame ****s scored a cheap one.

It's a bit depressing given how good he looked and a score here would've done wonders for his confidence.

Umar amin was looking so good it is sad the way he got out i hope asad scores an unbeaten century

Its not just that incident, its in general you always have something negative to say about them, never a word of positive comes out of you. You just look for any chance to insult Bangladesh which is kind of sad mate.

I have not seen that because of not having power over here. watching cricinfo live score updates and Cricinfo Stuff who are actually Indians are also saying that it not good for the spirit of the Game.. Here is what Cricinfo says : Mahmudullah to Umar Amin, 1 run, OUT, driven to long-off for one. Bizarre scenes here. Not quite in the spirit of the game. He has completed the single, goes back to the other side of the stumps because Mahmud is bowling round the stumps. Now Mr. Rubel Do you really have Cricketing sense? Or just a blind fan Of Bangladesh cricket where Only Tamim is providing Some World class Quality of batting and rest are coming from Diary Firm?

It was carelessness from him.

He could have just walked into the crease, but didn't. He had his bat up.

Farhat out now.

Are you trying to jinx Fahrat? :)

By the way, you missed a fantastic innings by Shahzaib!

Look what you did Momo????????????????????? He is out!

What a retarded shot...cutting a round the wicket ball from a left-armer!

:out

Farhat throws it away!

Farhat could've hit that anywhere! Trying to be too cute.

All three newbies looking good today...

Forget that Umar Amin and Asad are playing Bangladesh, their technique looks a notch above that of Manzoor, Latiff and the like..

before things and insults get out of hand...

...just want to say that it was Shakib who appealed for that slightly mean spirited run out today. Not Mahmudullah (my fav Bangladesh player). a bit desperate but let's keep our heads
Replays show Mahmud whipped the bails off in routine manner, but Shakib at midwicket noticed the bat was not grounded, and appealed. Mahmud wasn't quite sure what was happening (cricinfo)

If he's completed the run and is merely moving to the other side, it is crass and classless to appeal. Sure, it be within the letter of the law but throughout the history of cricket, many things have been within the rules but were not considered sporting and thus not within the spirit of the game - for instance, at one stage, under-arm bowling, and even now, appealing for a wicket for a batsman handling the ball (happens all the time, is a clear out if appealed for, but not sporting to appeal for it unless your name is Sarfraz).
