I wonder whether we need to go back to our 90s style of playing ODIs, especially with there being 2 new balls. Have defensive openers to see off the first 10 overs or so and look to attack at the end.

I feel that teams may have to go this way, especially with the amount of decent quick bowlers that are coming through.

Good post. People think every time Farhat gets out, its his own fault. I myself don't like Farhat BUT on this occasion, Farhat could do nothing with that delivery. May be he could have missed it BUT luck was not on his side.

The balls he was leaving were on a good length in the corridor of uncertainty, pretty difficult to manoeuvre the ball from there especially with ball moving around under lights.
