sabar fellas just making things interesting for you. Dont worry :)

ATG Younis chickening out of pace as usual. Let's hope he can weather this storm somehow and cash in later.

England deserve to win this test. Our selectors and head coach did not take England seriously and did not include any reserve spinner.

atleast one problem solved we can surely say Shan Masood will make way for Azhar

YK showing how good of a bunny he is against pace.

Straight swap Azhar with shan, and yasir in for rahat ali, and move malik to 6 and yk, tuk tuk and technique to bat one place higher, sarfi at his usual 7 and make a normal spinning pitch, not a rank turner, and rest will take care of itself, if all this happen and pak still don't win next match than that will be incredible effort by poms. Because i don't see how they will tackle all this.

Hafeez looking good that means there is nothing in the pitch

Hafeez has been positive so far which has been good to see, hopefully he will bat all day and score big runs for the team.

Bilal Asif coming in, news coming in. Zulfi might have played his last match.

Would be a blunder though

Review been taken and ball has missed the bat by fair bit! very good ball from rashid though.

its clearly not out! lets hope the umpire gets it right this time!

Considering our fragile batting and crap bowling (except Yasir and Wahab) curator did the right thing to make a flat pitch to save this test.

Even though malik has a double at number 3 but he can be a lot more handy for team and also for his own good if he bat at 6, won't be exposed to early seem and swing and fresh pacers, but yk is also poor player of pace so technique can be an option at 3 too, and yk 4 misbah 6,

Think there was an edge there personally, would've been interesting if we'd had hotspot!

2 sessions of solid batting needed from pakistan here to safely get a draw.

Think you need to go to specsavers! and get your eyes tested. Ball was miles away from the bat!

Shan masood probably will sit out for shehzad in the next match. Very ordinary defence.

England probably will win the next test match though ,their batting and batting both look solid.

Malik has 4 more innings to show if he can own this one down batting spot. Personally speaking, they need to give it Shafiq so that he can be ready for away tours next year.

I agree with Rob Key and Matt Prior who think that there was a deflection but are frustrated by the lack of the extra tech.

We won't find a better opener than Hafeez for UAE/subcontinent conditions any time soon, so his critics need to go for a hike.

It wasn't miles away, and it appeared to deflect at the bat.

But without Hotspot and the sound meter it's hard to tell either way, so you have to give the batter the benefit of the doubt.

There was clearly a deflection if you are not wearing biased spectacles.

I thought there was a deflection too but it's not conclusive enough, and the ball trajectory didn't change when they showed the side view. So if there was anything, it was very thin. The ball could simply just have drifted past the edge, so the benefit of the doubt remains with the batsman.

It's situations like these where you seriously need snicko or hot spot. Come on, if they can't afford both, at least they could have got one of the two.

Maybe I need to go spec savers as I saw no deflection. I could see daylight between bat and pad. And certainly no clear sound.

-40/2 is not a good position to be in even when you only have 50 overs to bat til safety.

Yah I agree. For such a high profile series (at least for pakistan) pcb should have spent a few extra bucks on the technology. Really poor from the pcb and broadcasters. They make already dull series to an absolute gloom.

Pak are under pressure and need to bat well next session to make it does end a draw.

On sky they were saying its down to the host broadcaster to pay for the technology apparently.

I guess thats why Hafeez is batting positively in order to end the trail and get some lead. YK must join the positive party as well.

Send Sarfraz next up and try to ruffle English feathers for the next game. Pakistan need to end the match on a strong note. We are playing on 'home' turf and we need to look the part.

I need to catch some of the action - haven't seen any of the Test thus far.

60 overs remain. We must not think about a draw. We musnt think about a result at all. YK must play like Hafeez. Going into a shell wont help.

Its better to save some money and pay the debt if required (healthy lead ) than going bankrupt ( unhealthy lead ).

2-3 more wickets in the first hour after lunch and this could be an absolute thriller.

Otherwise it will be the kind of Test match draw that crawls off into the desert heat like a panting turkey.

Matter of fact is that we are a very poor Test team and about time people realize it. Calling us second or third best is pure delusion.

We have simply been protected by a very easy fixture list. No tough away your since 2012-2013.

By that metric, most teams are poor sides as well.

Pakistan are also undefeated in their last 2 away tours, having won both against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
