Very jittery next session coming up. Got to see off the first hour then get settled. Not surprised at legend and shan getting out again. Neither are test quality.

Yes we are very very poor.

In fact we are rubbish in all formats and our wins are pure flukes.

Every win should be seen as luck and every loss reflects how poor we are.

Bangladesh is still a rubbish Test outfit and Sri Lanka are going through their worst phase since mid 90's.

Other teams barring India have all won competitive away series in the last few years.
 
Srilanka ,india ,new zealand and pakistan are at same level when it comes to test teams. Southafrica is easily the best followed by australia and england.

That isn't further from the truth. We have been ordinary in Tests and ODIs for years now, protected by easy fixtures in the former.

Don't care about T20s but our results in that format have only gone one way since we won the World T20 6 years ago.

New Zealand are slightly better, but Sri Lanka are below us and India.

England are ahead of Australia while SA remain the number one for now, but maybe not for long.

Newzealand have to perform for some period ti be considered better at test level but at the moment they are just par with us. Srilanka after losing sanga and jaya are weaker but they will soon be the same. Even the ranking points show how little difference between the teams from number 4 to number 7.

Well there is no one to challenge south africa apart from india on their own soil. Sa is safe at number 1.

New Zealand have better tools than us, India and Sri Lanka. Williamson is a class act and Boult will soon be the best pacer in the world. India can match Williamson but not Boult, while our hopes rest on Amir only.

Sri Lanka are too dependent on Mathews and Herath is on the brink of retirement. NZ should stay ahead of us for the next 2-3 years at least, we failed to beat them in the UAE but I can see them smashing us in NZ this time around.

Would love to see NZ in India now; think they will do better than Australia for sure.

Anyone will do better than australia in asia. NZ have tools but its the performance for an extended period which makes a team better than the others. NZ have a good batsman in williamson and a good bowler in boult but they need more better cricketers to challenge south africa. In india ,I see them easily getting smashed.
 
This is set up for King Misbah, Lord of Tuk Tuk, Master of the Boycott Block, to bat all afternoon.

Lol what a stupid run. Dumb cricket really ,who needs a stupid run in a dying test match. Two quick wickets now will make things interesting.

Hafeez lately has been stupid between the wickets but he tranferred sime of his dumbbess this time around.
 
Hafeez, Sarfraz and Azhar are doing their best to continue the legacy of Inzi and MoYo when it comes to running between the wickets. All three are ticking bombs.
 
One more wicket and I will see the thread slowly fill with Indian fans. They are gleeing to get in.

Lol.Only a matter of time before our flukey unbeaten run here ends. We have survived quite a few close calls, not for long. Perhaps this is the series where will be put in our place.

Sheer incompetence by the management and the fans who thought we'll walk over England, they aren't Australia.
 
Younis Khan has to be the worst player of fast bowling in the 50 average club, if not the most inferior batsman overall. Perhaps Hayden was worse.

I will add Pak are more rubbish than even English county teams.
 
Malik got out in a terrible way tbh. He played so well in the first innings. He cant be a long term top order player in our test team when azhar and haris come. Malik will have to bat in the lower middle order

He's a pure tailender. I think there is a possibility he uses springs in his bats to help him score runs.

ICC should investigate.
 
I went to the match yesterday. One of the most dull and boring games I've ever been to, and I love sitting back and watching Tests and relaxing. But even still.

The Ground also is noway international standards. The fact they can get away with some of the things they get away with here is beyond me.
 
Where is Moeen bhai, need to breathe some life into Younis' innings.
 
Younis must take respinsibility.

The way he got out in the first innings was shameful for the most senior batsman of our team.

If these two bat for the next 15 overs, England will be unable to force a result. A wicket now will make things interesting.

Misbah looking ungainly. Broad is dangerous when he pitches it up, needs to get his front-foot forward.
 
Imagine top 3 of shehzad hafeez and malik against anderson in england. 2/3 is the real possibility.
 
I am pretty sure that we will see a few sub 100 scores next year in england from this batting unit.

We have got ourselves in a hole here and need to dig ourselves out! poor batting so far in this 2nd inns.
 
Umpires call . Good decision not to review. But needs to bowl a seamer or Moeen/Root from the other end. Adil is leaking runs
 
Misbah is not good enough any more. Haris Sohail should replace him after this series.
