ONLINE Audio rights sold by PCB (see my STICKY thread) on this topic.

TMS therefore NOT allowed to broadcast it free online like they normally do.

Aha, that sucks. THankfully I've got Sky

lol great grammar by the pakistanis "Billy Bowden Welcome To Pakistan Funny Umpire" ona positive note drawing is good :P

good solid start for Pakistan. Still would like to see a few more singles though.

I always find banners in Pak to be too serious!

Its noticeable already how quickly England get through their overs. No "messing around" between overs.

Harmy bowling quite a few short ones at SB.

Salute to the wise one for bringin these 2 openers..No-Fault Malik is looking supreme, Butt seems a good foil ATM

Get in Afridi when Test Cricket has Super-Sub rules

actually i dont think he is that bad as a bowler giving insight in that field with pitch being condusive and whatnot

yes i like hearing waqars insights from the bowling perspective as he is a legend

just keep occupying the crease, pitch a tent in the middle and just stay there

glue to crease so much so that the police have to be called in to remove you - that batting legend, Zaheer Abbas' advice to the Pak batsmen before the Indian series.

Even if it's a flat-as-hell pitch, Pakistan could force a result if they pile on a huge score.

But I really hope there is a result.

Pakistan has mostly had results in the last few years so hopefully that will continue.

Waqars first "beaauuuuuutiful" adjective. Talking about the multan stadium

If Waqar is serious about his English commentating career, he should discreetly take some lessons in grammar and pronunciation.

this is one of the flattest pitches i have seen , yet butt seems to be struggling on this one . i think on half a decent pitch , butts number is up.

No thanks, we don't need another Mark Nicholas.

Take nothing away from the England bowlers, they are bowling a discplined line and length.

He's not played out in the middle for a while, he's just trying to get his eye in.

a couple of nice drives by Malik, but no runs. Patience the key here, as the drinks come on.

Eng's bowlers actually VERY accurate so far.

At drinks...they will be quite please.

What's with Waqar's commentary? He called Harmison "the Harmison"

england bowlers will cave in , the pitch isnt helping their cases and after a bit its gona be a great big buffet party for the batsmen. i guess it will be intresting to see how much purchase giles get , but even that isnt half a decent clue , guess the reports about inzi not liking this pitch were true, for this match to effect a result, it has to spin on day 3 onwards. if that happens , the hope is that by then pakistan have had a decent lead to go for englands jugular

God to see a decent -ish (bty Pak standards) building up..

Despite Pak still being in mourninng, everyday folk need a release.

Hmm, how does Waqar learning English better mean that he would become like Mark Nicholas? I guess by your definition any commentator with grammatically correct English or with better pronunciation is like Mark Nicholas?

and just now he almost called Multan a country instead of a city.

salaam all bothers.

Yaaro wats happened? Malik and butt fallen asleep or wat?

I dont like the periscope technique when Malik avoids the short ball. Leaves his bat up in the air.

if hoggard brings one back to malik he will be trapped in front. He is timing the ball well and into the middle of his bat more times than not....Just exaggerating his shuffle

lol. As I said, he should discreetly take some English lessons. It's embarassing for a great like him to sound stupid on air. Note that I don't think he's stupid, just that you obviously sound more stupid when you don't speak a language perfectly.

...Freddie is an impact player. Took wkts with nearly every new spell v the Aussies.

litmus test here , flinty in his stride , goes by the reputation of eating lefthanders for breakfast , lunch , dinner and everything in between, salman butt could be in for a baptism of fire here.
i think if he survives this burst, then there aint many things that can actually go wrong for pakistani bats in this match

shot of the day from SB - lovely cover drive for 4.

oh no ! Manjrekar comes onto commentate. I think I'll mute my tv now.

Manjreker is here. He's a good commentator and is full of admiration for pak.

I hope Butt does not relax or lose focus against Hoggard after facing Flintoff from the other end.

Bloody hell, does every tongue in cheek comment on here need a dozen ;) smilies after it?

And Waqar is crap not because of his command of the English language. He's crap because he's unbelievably boring.

"Axcellent shot by Salman Butt, there's some grass in the outfield which is green. Claps from the crowd which are the people in the stands. They are sitting on seats in this byooootful stadiam. Look at the bowler, he has the ball in his hand. He is trying to get a wicket"

AAAAARGH, I can see all that on the TV. It doesn't need repeating.

:)) :))

BigMac...prob is that NONE of these guys are proper commentators. Sky can just afford to pay big $$$ for NAMES...not ability. Thats the way of the game.

Best commentary team is on BBC TMS team.

Sadly both....he is hopping in and out of comentary booths!

great thinking by skipper trescothick
collingwood....LOL

seeing that last shot from SB - I swear I thought I was watching Saeed Anwar. Wristy flick to the cover boundary amd now 4 to mid wicket
