We always lose on friday because maybe there is some crowd in..and we struggle to perform when ever thr attendance is high

An aver around 33 in FC on super flat track shows how poor batsman he is
 
This lovely partnership by Azhar and Iftikhar has cost us the game. But here comes everyone's villain and scapegoat Shoaib Malik to get the blame from everyone.

But again I will use this against people who think Haris Sohail can't walk back on this team. Everyone else is dead man walking in 2016

Here's why tuk tuk never works!!!! in the end you lose another wicket, and have dried up a ton of overs for 5 measly runs.

How can you support that innings? No foot movement. Didn't rotate strike. Couldn't play short ball. Couldn't pick the gap. Got out. Rubbish batsman and will NEVER make it big.
 
I think that was the worst performance I've ever seen from a batsman who's supposed to be a pace bowler specialist lol
 
Rizwan should be batting at four. He ticks almost every box.

Good at building innings.
Good a strike rotation.
Can shift gears.
Has a knack of chasing scores.
Good under pressure.

Haris, Rizwan and Malik should be our middle order.

Iftikhar looked like a rabbit under the headlights. Looked nervous and timid. Hate characters like that. Nothing in his brief knock suggested to me he would be a good batsman.
 
Poor batting here, but the Toss is very important here.

Actually, it's lack of understanding of the ODI batting concept. Power Play is not about bang, bang or surviving the new ball - it's about positive approach & natural aggression. Once the ODI wickets started to flatten out & power Play introduced - every team barring PAK, put their best batsmen in top 3, batsmen who are decent with technique, naturally aggressive & can go after loose ball. Every team & I include ZIM, BD actually started to put their top middle orders in top 3.

PAK went other way - drop better shot makers to lower & either bring sloggers with very little technique & ZERO common sense or bring stone wallers in top 3. You put Azhar, Ahmad in opening - every time this 'll happen. Every team now days go for a head start & consolidate in middle overs, PAK does opposite. No insult, but trust me, if Azhar makes the BD ODI team, he 'll bat at 4 as a cover for collapse - NEVER, NEVER, NEVER in top 3, neither Iftekhar at 4.

Its not about supporting his innings!
He was on his debut! Was feeling the pressure of playing for country for the first time! You just cant discard him like this!

I wanted him at number 7! He doesn't belong at number 4!

And u don't decide who makes it big!

Bore England to death and then surprise them in the next match. The plan is to put them in a false sense of security in this game.
 
This is pissing me off. If this is the type of coward and pathetic batting you're going to put up then you don't deserve to be in the team. Get the hell out and come back when you have some common sense to show.
 
I have a very hard time understanding who our 2 best opening batsmen are, but right now the answer is no one.
 
what is this obsession we have with the English spinners. It's like we aint going to score of the quicks just waiting for the spinners come on. Very poor mentality. Why we letting the quicks settle.
 
We are finished as an ODI team. Don't deserve to play in the CT.

Fact is Babar is an opener. But he's shifted from 6 randomly with no time to adjust. Hafeez always fails in big chases. Iftikhar is as useless as they come. And Azhar has always been limited in stroke play.

England too had this problem but they made a conscious decision to take a more aggressive approach and picked more adventurous batsmen who enjoy attacking the bowlers. Pakistan pick only slow scoring btsmen or sloggers who can only block or swing blindly. It's a combination of poor technique and defensive mindset which has not been addressed by the coach.

Wasted a spot in the squad with Ifthikhar and could have saved a few runs by playing Zafar.
 
I can't believe Malik has made me a believer but his ability to rotate the strike is better than anyone else on the team.

PLEASE win this match for us Shoaib!
