These guys are multi dimensional cricketers who can bat/bowl/keep. In india and Pakistan we have to compromise with one-dimensional cricketers to play this kind of cricket. Back in the day Afridi, Sehwag, Yuvraj could all bat, bowl and field.

One-dimensional hacks have a good utility in local leagues but not in international cricket.

True but the English batters aren't as static at the crease as we are. They use the width and depth of the crease really well.
