Pakistan came back with a bang to level the series with an emphatic 10-wicket win vs England.

Question on everyone's mind is if they can repeat the performance or will England come roaring back to take revenge?

The Pakistan middle-order remains as suspect as it was before so don't hold your breath!

England need to be smart and not pick Willy, or at least not pick him to bowl in PP overs to Rizwan

The guy has no clue what to do against him!
 
They should also give rest to Rizwan now.. No point in playing so many back to back matches when you are not 100% fit.

Harris needs to play as well. It's funny how he has not debuted in t20 yet, the format he has shown the most promise in but they have already given him odi games.
 
Would be difficult to repeat yesterday's display also in back to back games fitness gets tested expect the openers to depart early and middle order will come in firing line, Eng would be more motivated after the kick in teeth so Eng to win this one
 
As usual, it is going to be a drubbing unless Babar or Rizwan or both of them click.

Some posters here will be waiting for atleast one to fail to push their agenda after yesterday's humiliation.
 
There will be no changes. Even though I want the KIA trio out it would be unfair to drop Khushdil today as he did not bat last match, he should not been in squad in first place or played the first two matches.
 
Hasnain for Jamal and Qadir for Abrar should happen at least

Once again i really really hope khushdil gets dropped.
When will they realise he is the most useless cricketer ever.After the most easiest catch dropped ever he should be shown the door.

i think its perfect replacements ...

i would rest Rizwan too ... so Harris in for Rizwan and dont kow if there is anyone else we can bring in for Khushdil other than Asif Ali

makes alot of sense to see them

i wish we had Qasim Ali and Saim ayub in this mix...would be awesome to get them rolling

The management are more about setting personal scores with ex players and journalists at the moment.

Fair play because they have copped a lot recently.

This is pretty close to England’s best attack, given some niggles in the squad I expect most of these blokes to feature in the World Cup or go there for bench strength, this attack is stronger compared to some of the ones which fought SA and India in Summer.

I like Qadir because am biased for specialist leggies which are rare but Shadab is missed and Shaheen, maybe I’ve missed someone else who isn’t playing either
 
Whole sale changes are pointless right now when there are 5 games left and Pak if we are honest really have their mind made up on the core group, but have given chance to guys they could rely on in the WC, e.g. Haider, Dhani etc

Hasnain needs to improve drastically

They need to bring in Jamal and see what he is all about because if he does offer something with the bat, you can drop one of Khusdil/Iftikhar/Asif for him and play him as the 4th seamer in Australia

Bro who are these guys you keep bringing up I have never ever heard off :)) it’s like the people who want Logan Paul to bury Reigns

Hasnain has been around the set up longer and I’d have thought why they are backing him due to his raw tools even with a remodelled action, he deserves an opportunity. The bowlers though tbh are pretty good, there are some strong options in spin and pace

The middle order is problem though, despite his critics, there is no one out there like Hafeez? Asif Ali / Kushdil will remain in lower order duties, you, mentioned the Sami bloke maybe he will get a chance there but Pak really need at least 1 hafeez in the middle order who can not only stabilise but is dynamic to keep the rate going
 
I will be keenly looking at how Pakistan's fielding holds up this match. Pakistan's fielding for the past year has been embarrassing. We've been dropping a catch or two almost every match.

Not just the catching, even ground fielding has been poor.

Too many fumbles and misfields gifting free runs to opposition.
 
Crucial win yesterday, a fourth defeat in a row and the knives really would've been out.

The pitches have been weird so far. In the first match it started as a belter before dying after a few overs. Yesterday it started lifeless before getting better and better to bat, so interesting to see how today's track holds up.
 
I want to see us win the toss and bat.
Rizwan and babar need to go overly beserk- frankly who cares if they get out.
That gives Haider Shan ifti and khushdil the overs to navigate an innings and set a score.
After this or the next games we will start seeing more changes, so this game is the one for the core batting line up

These guys misfield and concede a boundary on ball one and drop a catch on ball two. It's starting to become a pattern.

Knowing Pakistan they'd probably want to secure the series before taking those types of risks.

Adil,Moin , Curran, Willey are regular bowlers in England team. The only regular one really missing is Jordon who Pakistani players have given plenty of phainty in internationals as well in psl. Archer has not featured for years it seems and who knows will not be available for World cup either. Batting wise they are missing some fantastic playerslike Bairstow and Roy who is in poor form, both players are not missed by England as Hales and Brooke are very good replacements. Butler will be soon I hope to test Pakistanis, who themselves are missing three regulars in Shaheen, Shadab and Wasim Junior and even rested Naseem yesterday.

Your dreams of seeing him open the innings in World T20 disappeared faster than a pizza on Sharjeel’s table.

I’m sure you would have viewed the MCC bowlers differently if the had scored a hundred against them.

Nevertheless, as you rightly said, this too shall pass.

Back to back matches. Rizwan should rest.

Maybe Naseem in for Hasnain or Rauf. Rauf needs a rest too and if Wasim Jr. is healthy, maybe both Naseem & Wasim can sub in for Hasnain & Rauf. Would like to see Abrar come in for Qadir too.
 
Tom Helm could cause some problems if he gets a chance. Really like the look of him. Hits the pitch hard and gets the ball to bounce off a length.

England using this series better than Pakistan in testing new players and trying different combinations.
 
Parchi like Khusdil and Qadir will play all the matches. Should try new players instead of these 2 proven failures.
 
So much for rotating players. Using the same lineup as 24 hours prior because of the dumbest reason ever: "winning combination".

I am guessing Wasim Jr. is still not fully fit since he hasn't gotten a game in yet.
 
Not that it would happen but would be interesting if Shaan and Haider opened the innings...

Haris would only come into team if Rizwan got injured in world cup, for that, you need to test him out and give him t20 game time now, in this 7 game series, and let Rizwan have some rest.
 
As I said Pakistan would go unchanged, although should have rested Qadir for the newcomer to see what he presents. Listening to Naser Hisain is so refreshing he always makes somuch sense and always have up to date knowledge about players for both sides.

Made very good point about Babar and Riz S/R almost the same as De Kock but with much higher averages... Also made the point that Babar and Riz know that not much to come after them which is why they are a bit more cautious...

When will they drop him.

My blood is boiling right now.
 
Babar has one-track mind. He prefers to keep same players and hope for miracle in crucial matches to win. The yes man coach is too busy for camera's smiling pose.

This guy has good connection. Must be either Babar's buddy or relative PCB's high official.
 
Would have liked Pakistan to make a few changes to get the right combinations like middle order and/or bowling combos.

I think they playing him one more time to fail so they can drop him for good like they did with Shoaib Maqsood, and Iftikhar needs to go too.
 
Faisal Afridi standing in his first T20i - congratulations to him.
He is a very competent umpire and wont be surprised if he gradually becomes part of elite panel.
 
Khush playing is irritating.

Almost as if Pakistan management want him to succeed with all his faults.

Yes he guessed right the Pakistani approach.
 
Pakistan management wasting this golden opportunity to test new players at home soil and rest senior players. Atleast 2-3 changes should have made in this line up. Some people have hyped Aamir Jamal that he played like Pandya of India hard hitting batter and medium pacer .
 
So Abrar, Jamal are just for show but they will never in World T20 set up. Looks like Khusdil, Ifti and Asif will be in the main team in World Cup. So it all about Babar and Rizwan. They have to score around 140 and rest will score around 30 runs.

He is probably worrying about his T20 rankings as you'd lose points for missing out games! So he may be forcing babar to let him play in every matches. Atleast babar should have batted first and try out different things after all These matches are just warm-ups and who cares if you lose!.
