I know Hafeez got out cheaply, but everyone else blocking everything isn't good. Pakistan need to rotate the strike at least, get ones and twos.

but going for a slog after you have scored 10 runs in the over is also not very good

That is the problem with Hafeez. He has ability but he is also very impatient and impulsive and often throws away his wicket when looking set (sl. less reckless version of Umar Akmal)
 
Pakistan will win Insha Allah!

150 lead will be enough but just get it somehow!

I will go to sleep now!

I pray and hope I see a good big lead on the board when I wake up!
 
If these two can stick together a lead of 50 runs now.... it would be golden.... The pitch would deteriorate further, a target of 150 plus , something around 175 is not easy to chase here
 
i cant even sleep when a pak game is in session...i dream about it non-stop, so today ik just gonna stay up and yawn and watch
 
Both the teams have played quality bowling after a long time that's why failing to score much :D

Won't deteriorate on day 3 . if we somehow can drag the match to day 4. Lol in this case we will win anyway :D

Agreed, but like I said earlier, when Taufeeq and Azhar Ali can't even rotate the strike - a combined 7 off 40 balls to date - it puts pressure on Hafeez to move things along. It's a bad shot, but the context is relevant too.
 
Just don't lose any wicket before lunch
 
pitch looks easier to bat on now, really a poor shot from :hafeez

his 1st genuine brainfart after a long time!

need :yk and :azhar to score 50+ now! a 100 from :yk will be match winning...
 
These two need to spend time out there! Concentrate hard! To the point where only jaffas can get them out and not every other ball!

How much more exciting would this be if the series was 1-1?

Thats too much! English bowlers are not there for a picnic! :D

I think 175 target for English will put them under immense pressure and they might end up losing again!

Are you high?! They have to bat last on this pitch which was turning a LOT out of the footmarks, if they get to 200 or so this will be very competitive.

I doubt Pakistan would've played so loosely in the first innings if the series was on the line :misbah

no point in concentrating when you will only block, its only a matter of time before they do get the jaffa...scoring runs is vital on this wicket and at the moment we can't buy singles to save our lives!

I meant that they should take singles here and there and try to be out there the whole day! Runs will come automatically!
 
Hoping to score younus scores a century here. England ahead of game at this time. I feel Misbah and Younus will score.
 
If we can somehow get to 200 for about 7 we'll be well set.

If england have to chase anything more than 200, I say we win insha'Allah
 
This Doctor analyst was associated with Pakistan team during the 90's i think..Last evening he said he knows Akther since '94 knows alot of insights about 90's dressing room.

not really ... this is the way to go ... lot of batsmen have looked to be "positive" but they have made a fool of themselves.
