Hi All !!!
Another new morning as we speak the game is under 2 hours from start of play on day 3. I always believe that test cricket is about each sessions. Who ever win the most sessions can always make it count. After collaspe on day 1 on 99.
Most people would have thought that we are gonna see England batting for next two days on flat deck which didn't seem to be the case. Well with the way things have been going with our bowling I was expecting England to take lead of maximum 100-150 thats all. But our bowling unit had other ideas they made sure that they didn't get away with the game. Conceading the lead of 42 in such a low scoring game would have surely, made England feel that there is a lot to play for.
Yet again it was nervy start by openners. Toffy couldn't do much but we never expected much good from him. Professor didn't review which might have helped his cause. With the game still tilted towards England as Pakistan lost 2 early wickets on the morning which has been owned by bowlers. 28/2 for would have sent some nerves to the dressing room & may be few might had nightmares of the 1st innings.
Walk in two people who have different reasons to prove themselves. Younus Khan & Azhar Ali, it never looked at the start that azhar ali had a plan to do anything apart from blocking, 2 of 39 balls spoke louder than action. On the other hand Younus made sure he isn't bothered about that. In the end the runs started flowing.
It felt like they were batting on the different track then batsmen before them. They didn't look back. If morning session was about survival then afternoon session was about the hard work & surely evening session was to boss the pitch. Both batsmen made sure that there wasn't anything which could smell like a wicket.
Under 2 hours for the start of play, as both players face yet another test for both at the crease. They have put in all the hard work to be in the position the team is in but the job is half done. England with the ball just 2 overs old would surely try to make sure Pakistan don't get away with show.
It would be an interesting morning in UAE where most people only perdicted draws, looks like we surely have the result for this game with 3 full days to go.
Good Luck team Pakistan & thanks for showing the character which makes difference between boys & men.
