Not qualms with Butler being a debutant; no laughing matter either - anxiety, nerves, has the best of them.

Same old story.
All Pakistan odis victories in past year or so were because of Ajmal, Hafeez and Afridi. Rest are just passengers.

Dammm ! it was all cook effect had we got him early in previous matches ... useless Gul and cheema

Let get the Peterson and Kieswetter wow so many south Africans in England's line up, cant keep up!

Yeah, difference is you rarely praise.

I was one of Pakistan's biggest fans during the test series and consistently gave praise. If Mohali has a poor ODI series, he gets my criticism. Entirely fair.

Rameez is full of contradictions.

He says look at KP and the results of perseverance, however had Azhar Ali gone through a similar run, he would be asking that he be sent back to domestic!

I agree with Whippy.

Can someone tell me what was so special about Misbah's captaincy in the test series. The only thing to his credit is that he is a educated and good at man-management.

As far as tactics and strategy goes, he is as good as Inzi was.

Misbah played very cleverly during the test series. He bowled Rehman and Ajmal.

Nevermind, I could do that too. 80% of the wickets taken by Pakistan were spinners wickets, kind of putting good spinners vs. England batsmen = easy victory. Your spinners are good, and our batsmen can't play spin, perfect combo.

Cmon, before the series no-one could have dreamed of a 3-0 to Pak. Misbah's captaincy was excellent throughout and all pundits appreciated it. From the field placings to bringing in the bowlers at the times he did to the different plans for each batsman, you have to give credit where its due.

Many who appreciated his test captaincy don't appreciate it now because of the one day series, which is unfair to say the least.

No one could have believed we will win against England in 2005/6 when they were coming off an Ashes High.

We did because we have Akhtar and Kaneria in top form just like we had Ajmal and Rehman in top form.

I like Ajmal's tendency to not be greedy with the review as the bowler.

1. We didn't win 3-0. Captaincy plays a role in the difference in winning and serving a whitewash.
2. Look in the pre-series threads comparing the two respective sides. The overwhelming view was that England 12 is stronger than 05 and Pak 12 is weaker than 05.

My friend, a true test of captaincy is during the periods where the opposition is in the ascendancy and Misbah just like Inzi failed and went on the defensive.

Everyone wants to come and bowl when a new batsman comes in and its expected that fielders will be put around the bat etc.

furthermore, the strategy for the first 15 overs is usually made in the dressing room, and when that fails only then you can see the true worth of a captain with no coach to give advice.

I am not saying Misbah is a bad captain. He has the ability to handle players and that is good but his captaincy is like his batting - like Afridi's captaincy reflected his batting

Fair play to KP, it's been a long tour but he looks the only one who can give Ajmal a game.

The only reason the scoreline read 2-0 then was because one match was played in Faisalabad :p

This is turning out to be a good match. Ajmal once again the showing his class.

Lol, I think a thank you is in order from KP. We have brought him to form for future sub-continental series.

I trust Misbah to lose the plot here...

And stop attacking since PowerPlay is over....

Which would be suicide

Hafeez to bowl

How much time does Afridi spend on his hair everyday? Its always immaculate :))

Actually most Pak players seem to have great hair except for the bald ones. Is it mandatory to have great hair to get selected into the team :asif

Red meat. :afridi
