Don't know why people are surprised, this is the XI that has been so successful recently for us. I'm not too comfortable having only 2 fast bowlers, but this combination has worked so I didn't really expect any changes.
 
I can't believe there is no Junaid or Wahab.
I was looking forward to seeing either one of them
 
Guys dont worry!!! Cheema will be man of the match.. He has been consistent in all matches played... Wahab is on the comeback.. we have to give him some time.
 
Cheema is hard working bowler , but still feel that Pakistan should have got in :wahab or :junaid for variation.

they should have played monty panesar

We are very weak against left arm spinner

England made a huge mistake, not picking up Monty, it will be the difference between Win and Draw.
 
Not a very good team selection by Pakistan. Anyways best of luck to them. Want to see them winning this series. :akhtar

I think now what Pakistan have choosen , just go ahead with it, I hope cheema justifies his selection, he is a good hard working chap, so he should be charged up.
 
Sky are making my blood boil. At this rate they will lose a loyal customer they had for ten years.
 
Misbah needs to be positive and set positive fields, :rehman needs to give the ball little more air.......... But I would be missing :junaid
 
Really disappointed with the team selection, it will be a miracle even if we draw the match.
 
good side picked think just have a doubt about Cheema but he has been in form recently so I am good with him..
 
Yeah I don't like the implications of "Pakistan is dodgy" that Sky appears to be pushing a bit hard with these clips. Pakistan and other nations have suffered from dodgy characters, cheating and other bad stuff. Let's deal with it.

? They're just talking about the past controversies for ratings? We have a thread similar to that at PP. They're not saying these Pakistan players are bad?
 
Really weird contrast between sky and ten cricket. One is focusing on the past and the other focusing on the match itself.

cook and Stauss will punish cheema. Gul will find good areas but wont get a wicket. You need a bit of x factor and Junaid or Wahab would have given that.
 
I hope Cheema proves me wrong! Gul it's time to step us as the leader of the pack. You've been living off your ODI exploits for too long!
 
After the spineless display by 2 Asian teams against Eng/Aus/SA, I am rooting for Pak to do well in this series. I sincerely hope even if Pak loses(hope not), at-least show some fighting spirit.

and we r playing against england .. not india :) who can play spin better

Especially the variety of spin

hopefully it will bring good result
