I think this is the best way for Akhtar to bowl on this seemingly dead pitch. Short bursts of flames.
 
Shoaib is amazing, what a player to have in your team. He has effectively taken the pitch out of the equation.
 
hmmmm not yet....will give another 2, overs to akhtar n continue with rana for as long as possible...frm akhtars end give sami a go.......

that was always on the cards with our bowlers......even afridi will look better then kumble i can assure u!!!!
 
Well we have 6 bowling options and over 600 on the board. Let the good times roll i say!!!!

Very true
 
No swing for either Rana or Shoaib in the short session before tea. A couple of fine deliveries from both bowlers which had the batsmen fending off the ball and in Sehwags case closing his eyes and hoping the ball would evade him.

hi cavin, people welcomed you and wished you well, but then that thread became a chat session for a couple of posters.
 
n the posts guys if u had done the ball by ball commentery bit while pak was batting for 2 days u would have had even more trust me on this one!!

i think they are over trying it...they should concentrate on the basics of keeping it well inside the stumps like the last one.......

You cannot replace Amjid Javed he is a legend with 40,000 posts.
 
this is accurate stuff frm akhtar.....he needs to be a lil patient with dravid..shouldnt try to experiment too much early on
 
Shoaib's working hard. Good bounce and god carry through to the keeper. He's having some trouble with his ankle. Getting it checked by physio.

Great shot for 4 from sehwag
 
Guys - can I just remind all who post here to put up the score on each post - it helps people who are following this game purely online and makes our threads more interesting.
 
It'll be interesting to see what Sami has got in store for us after his lessons with Imran.

If Sami bowls crap then it'll be a bit embarrassing for Imran in the studio.

Sami ends with figures of 0-150...

the thing which worries me is with england he started the ankle prob in the 3rd test..and with india its from the 1st test...not gud for us...........batsmen looking very comfortable now......playing with ease........
 
im luving it he claps n tells dravid well played next ball is a quick one 151 .........nice over by shoaib
