How ironic that for a bowler that takes so much pride in his pace, his slower ball is often the most potent weapon.
 
Sami, please learn from this. Some people are just natural wicket-takers. If only Sami used his brains a bit more. Great thinking from Shoaib.

No hard feelings caved but i dont think he has played to his potential in this tour. Our expectations from him were much higher but im not going to criticize him much, he hasn't had much support. Sami has been terrible.
 
Enjoy this lads.....I can't believe I am missing it personally. We will never see Sami in a test match again after this.

sami wasted the new ball...jsut for a change if the pak camp use their brain...and should have given the new ball to arafat
 
Sami bowling like he know its the end.....130km....5'8 weights nothing.......no bounce, no pace, no swing, no seam...what is his asset? i mean this guy would not make 1st grade in OZ

oh absolutely none, I was just mentioning some facts, he may not have taken enough wickets, but then you gotta see how he bowled every delivery of his spells in this test series, forget about the first innings of this test, he was sick, but the rest of the series, he gave his 110%, you can definitely consider things like what if he were able to bowl more? what if he were in better condition physically? and criticize that stuff, as for his bowling, I thought he has been exceptional so far. You have your say, criticize whoever you want, but do it rightly, Welcome to the forum Logical :)

These bowling figures might give an insight how brilliant Sami is bowling
 
Arafat bowling around the 80 mark. His approach to the wicket reminds me a little of Mark Ealham, let's hope he can crank it up a bit though as natural line and length should be suited to this wicket. If he bangs the odd one in short it may skid through.
 
Sami needs to pitch it up here. He's hardly had the batsmen on the front foot yet. They're just waiting on the back foot and have ample time to play him.
 
Pace bowler Yasir Arafat is bowling in 120s. Is he a pace bowler or medium pace bowler? I thought some fans here were crying when Atul Wassan called him Medium Pacer.
 
India playing sensibly..no risk...no thrills..just let the overs pass..and punish the odd ball..
This is the best any one can expect/do frm this wicket.

89 Run lead may be a crucial factor later on..who knows !!

Ok Atul Wassan is a 10000000 Miles/Hr bowlers, Happy?
 
He doesnt have the match fitness to be bowling consistently quicker. He really will need to work on this because he doesnt have any height advantage so he needs to rely on skiddy pace to deceive batsmen.

Why do I feel that if Yousaf was a proper fielder, there would have been a real chance of a run out. Well done Yousaf....you keep up your great fielding and stiff running.

Wow, this pitch is horrible to bat on, but you still need to bowl at the stumps. Yasir, barring that Yuvraj-Ganguly partnership, has been very good with his line on this wicket. Well done. 26 for 2.

problem is that sami and kaneria will find it hard to get wickets that will leave only shoaib and arafat do get them out
