It's a part of cricket. People get dropped daily. Heck half the centuries made against Pakistan were after drops.

Bat for next 20 overs and get 570 on the board, giving NZ 11 overs to bat today or we could keep it to 550 and give them around 15 overs.

The target should be to get 1/2 wickets today which will really put pressure on NZ.

Agreed.

Zeeshan: "Misbah becomes the second Pakistan batsman in this innings to tip his career average above 50. Shehzad couldn't keep it there. Misbah needs to get to 94 if he is to be dismissed to keep that average above 50."

C'mon Misbah 50 more

The gods have been shining brightly on the Pakistani's the past month or so.

Corey Anderson NZ's leading wicket taker after the first innings, who would have guessed it :))

No more senior bashing?

Seniors are making a strong case now a days.

Only 5th time in history of Pak cricket, all top 5 scored more than 50

Do you guys think NZ will be better vs spin?

I think Watling will do good. Good sweeper of the ball.

Watling, Williamson and Taylor are all good players of spin. McCullum can weather through decently if he gets a good start (has a 200 vs India in India).

The main worry is the fact that this is Rosco and Williamson's first game after injury.

Don't know, there's a bit of turn out there and NZ are undercooked.

This will be McCullums first innings in the UAE since arriving (didn't bat in the warm up), Taylor and Williamson's first actual game since coming back injury making predictions of us getting close to Pakistan's total pretty far fetched.

No i don't think so. They generally can scrap and graft better than AUS batters but you need to score quickly and heavily against Yasir and Zulfi which is simply not going to happen. They simply don't have the ability to bat like YK,Sarfraz against spin.

Hmm true. Lets see.

They've just come back from injury.

Here's Taylor's last 10 matches (Mostly all CPL T20's)

He hasn't played quality cricket in quite some time.

Craig has bowled too many overs for my liking. Playing an offie against Pakistan is a bad ploy. Wagner should be back for the next game.

Williamson prepares excellently so im not worried about him.

Taylor has always been a bit feast or famine but will scrap out 40s or 50s even when out of touch. Hoping its feast time on this tour.

The key thing about both is that they rotate the strike well against spin or pace. The rest of the NZ batting line up will put away bad balls but get bogged down by good spin.

Nah, he'll struggle.

He hasn't played quality cricket in months.

McCullum keeps it very tight, looks like a hard bowler to get away tbh :azhar

Rameez and his lame jokes.

'Does he remember his name'

'Is he sitting in the right dressing room'

:raja

We are missing the bowling of Williamson.

I think Craig has been toothless enough for us to send an SOS to Jeetan Patel who will at least turn the ball and has a good variation.

Sarfraz needs 54 runs to surpass Kami as highest scoring wicketkeeper for pakistan in calender year
