Has MoYo given into the constant stream of criticism aimed at him for not coming in at no.3 in the previous matches?? Has the media and 'experts' gotten to him already?

I'm glad he has decided to take responsibility and come in at 3, but i'm curious to what prompted him to make the switch in the middle of a test?

that ball's still too hard for him to cope, he's so used to playing with a soft ball, he misjudged the bounce. that's what happens when you hide.

lol yousaf thought easy runs must be regretting the decision now

Only easy runs are in India and when India visits other offshore and custom orders flat tracks...

There are no easy runs on these pitches and conditions on New Zealand...

i tell you we can only win it with our bowlers there is no chance that our batsmen will leran to win a match

I like Yousef's batting no matter how much he scores. He has style, class, and elegance. The best batsman in our team. I hope he does good this time.
only sometimes I appreciate what you say, this time: :14:

I guess Akmal didn't have to wait long to come in. :)))

Farhat felt bad for him and decided to let him come in quickly as well.

Guess I spoke too soon... Misbah in. :)))

Misbah looked good in the first inning. He really has to make it count this time.

I have a question for you:) nick names are fun to use, why take it away from us?:)

Good question

Management decision - pls open a thread in MRR - Thanks

that score of 35 by Farhat is good by Pakistan opening standards on a bouncy track, personally I am not satisfied by Farhat's contributions

And here's another quote that you may want to use

Success breeds success

ie - You have to start winning to win consistently - or in other words, success is not a bad thing.

These players need our support and from what I see of Farhat and Butt in this match, I am very happy.

Don't get me wrong MIG.

I'm happy that they got 49.

If Farhat get's a 50 I'll congratulate him. He's out by the way. I just don't think he should be anywhere team thats all.

And this whole success breeds success additude is a bit far flung especially when we're talking about Pakistan.

Now if it was a guy who deserved to be there opening the innings, no sifarish, no politics I would support him to the hilt. That's when the quote applies.

But at this point I really have no expectations from any of these batters except for Umar Akmal and Mohammad Yousuf. That's not wrist slitting, thats just being realistic.

So do we still want Imran in our team? Hope Khalid Latif gets a call for the test. He looked so much like a test player.

220 lead now. I'd say 130 more and its our match even if our bowlers bowled wrong armed! May be not!

''Quite a few bats in the coffin''

:))

Waqar makes me laugh and cringe at the same time. Ricky Gervais beware!

No yaar - I understand your point of view completely - totally grounded in the way you say it.

About the success part - its about confidence.

The SL series debacle took out a lot of confidence from our teams. This is why its important to win games against semi decent sides - just to build that momentum - to believe in yourself.

Yousuf nearly got out

O brien has changed after he got beaten by umar akmal in that first inns

Yousuf looks mighty uncomfortable out there. He was standing in the field nearly the whole day. Must be tired.

I guess he will go onto tell his grandchildren that the best way to bowl well is dislocate your finger.

The guy is a great bowler and is the only one working his butt off for the team alongside Vettori (who does everything and then some).

MoYo looking a little out of sorts here - strange slip...
