Sensational first session for the Pakistan.

Swung the game in our favour.
 
So, who was giving up on Pakistan after day 1? Any change of mind guys?
 
Good first over from Aamer after lunch.

Good pace and the last ball swung. Squared up Flynn.
 
That might tell you the height of Pakistani fielding that Kaneria is fielding at point.
 
Asif started off very slowly in pace.

Now bowling at his normal speed of 131kph.

Butt has the cheek to grin. Man how I would love to punch his face and Farhat's.
 
whats the point of getting upset, its a given we're going to drop four or five catches this innings.

there should be no rest between matches for butt and farhat though, there should be ten hours of catching practice every day. not sure which is more remarkable, the fact that they keep dropping them, or the fact that yousuf keeps putting them into catching positions.
 
No need to induce any edges apart from Kamran no one is going to catch anything. And sometimes even he decides not to catch them.
 
I thought fielding would have improved for Pakistan over the 90s. Instead the fielding is even worse than it was back then.

Give credit to the ball. It kept coming at him and he did his best to drop it.

can you get an easier catch than this? eaasier then the ones Farhat dropped.
I thought our standard could not go lower but we get a surprise yet again
 
I just woke up, missed Akmal's innings :(

It looks like we did incredibly well to get to 264 and yet again, Aamer has gotten us a breakthrough to get us in a reasonable position in the match. Still a long way to go. Just as a type, Butt has dropped a sitter. This is getting ridiculous

The first attempt is difficult but once it poops straight up in the air it's very easy.

frustrating 2 wickets down would have really have put them under pressure! why cant our fielders ever back up our bowlers! seriously just destroys the bowlers morale dropped catches like that and it wont be the 1st.

not sure this incident related to Butt was typo or not. Needs a trained expert I guess

At international level if you get your hand to it you really should catch it....no excuses. This isn't school boy or club level. Butt is a professional....absolutely ridiculous and shameful drop.
 
I've a feeling they will really make us pay for that drop catch...

why not have a specialist fielder as a 12 and 13 man and let the field instead of these bunch of looser ?
