Pakistan 34-2 , 369 runs behind. Is the match heading toward a draw? or still something in it? :misbah

This is the most important innings for Azhar-YK-Mis lets see how they respond.

Pakistan should not get too much defensive at this stage. When there is a chance they need to score.

Where is everyone

Sleeping.

Glad we haven't lost a wicket this morning, need these two to be there at lunch. Conditions are fairly easy to bat on so they need to cash in on this start instead of being overconfident and throwing it away.

Why create unnecessary needles between the support staff by comparing their fitness? Stupid stuff by ramiz

There are some good comments being published at cricinfo

Younus khan was my elder brother class fellow in mardan college and all my school and college life we saw him as a medium fast bowler and every one make fun with him when he came to batting at no 5 because he never hit six at that time because of weak arms. but life change so much . he is best of the best now."

:)

People have stopped talking about azhar Ali strike rate because they now know he can't bat any other way. That's the way he bats :afridi

Not that SR matters a lot in test cricket but Azhar's career SR does not even touch 40 I think. Very slow batsman.

He is living of YK and dare i say Misbah's aggressiveness. He alone cannot lift the tempo of the innings if the situation demands it and this is evidenced by the fact and the manner of his dismissals whenever Pakistan has needed quick runs from him.

This session holds the key ... 100 runs need to be scored in this session minimum.

The kind of form Younis has struck the record seems to be in serious danger here ...
Only 80 Runs separate Bradman and Younis now.

He should open. His tuk tuk is ok when you open the batting.

Him and shezad should be the openers.
This means a deserving player comes in instead of failures like shan, taufeeq and hafeez !

Definitely I'd prefer him to open, but the criticism of Azhar is unreasonable - proper Test batsman.

I am fine with a draw. Unless we can score 600 plus, a win will ne extremely difficult

If pakistan dont lose enough wickets today then this match will be a boring draw.
lol.. dont think so, bat today bat tomorrow till lunch get a lead of 100+ or if tomorrow whole day maybe even 200, get them out in 3-4 sessions on day 5.

I'm watching the ODI match between Aus and SA lol. It's only fun when we bat because there's a chance of his throwing away a wicket, not the case when Pakistan's batting. Wickets are trash, no wonder Test cricket isn't popular in the SC.

Woo fair effort

If Azhar Ali keeps this up, this will be a draw. He has a very good defensive game, but needs to develop his attacking game a little bit.

Hope Pakistan continue likes this, increases the chances of us drawing this :D
