Can't get much tougher for Pakistan in terms of opposition for a warm-up match. Having just arrived it will be interesting to see how they will do.

No word about the Pakistan line-up so far.

But the SA line-up is predicted to be:

Graeme Smith (captain), Jacques Kallis, Herschelle Gibbs, AB de Villiers, JP Duminy, Mark Boucher, Albie Morkel, Roelof van der Merwe, Johan Botha, Wayne Parnell, Dale Steyn.

Looks rather powerful, batting is deep. Not to sure about how effective the spinners will be.

It will be interesting to see who Pakistan open with and which seam bowlers play. Arafat seems unluckily having played today. Mohammad Aamer to be given a chance?

Should be a cracker. Regardless of the result not much should be seen into this game though. The crucnh will come later. It is just so good seeing pak playing cricket again!!! My top 2 side are playing each other. My blood, is green.

My predictions is it will be a low scoring match.

We will have trouble against their quicks and they will struggle against our spinners.

Finally .. I hope Aamir gets a bowl !

We beat SAfrica in a warm up before the 2007 WC in the West Indies. These warm ups probably have no bearing on the WC itself but be interesting to see where Pak stand against the top sides. We haven't played top sides recently so it's a bit of an unknown.
Should be able to catch most of the match after work Insha Allah.
