akmal averages on 25 in ODI, does he deserves his place in squad with his avg batting and below avg keeping performance?

They play a game before they go out....They write their names on a piece of paper so whoever's name comes out first goes up the order and opens...As they will go one after the other anyways....:p

SO today YK put a dozen of them with his name and hence opened so Butt walked 1 down and same with Akmal!
 
Malik saving himself for the middle overs and i can see his point. Misbah and afridi will also need to step up today
 
Why was Butt allowed off the field for such a long time ?

yeah they were certainly unlucky by bowling at 5th and 6th stump they need to bowl at 4th stump if not on off stump

Sending Kamran early might not be a bad decision...can't criticize Malik for everything...

On a side note, Khurram is off to a flier of a start, 3 runs from 15 balls, and a SR of 20. We are all set, 8/2, only 302 more runs needed.

What was Youns Khan doing standing so much outside leg stump to begin with? when he moved across to play that one, he was in front of his stumps.

sohail khan was on and around the offstump most of the time i was watching, even bowling fuller of length deliveries.. we must have been watching diff matches

dont knw the exact stats of his but surely saw him scoring 2 centuries against endland and india while opening

Its a shocking 'unappreciation' of how the game should be played and how you try to stay 1 step ahead of the game.

manzoor is not a one day player. should never have been chosen for one dayers. i am going to dig up his strike rate in the domestic league next.

He started doing it in Australia. Guess it gets the feet moving early.
 
Slow run rate is acceptable when you have wkts in hand.

Dont think many teams have chased 300+ at Gadaffi Stad

I vouch that Khan and Gul were bowling off stump line beautifully. Just not lucky today.

yeah sohail khan was but what about gul and rao as gul was bowling on 5th and 6th stump and rao even when was jassuriya was hitting him all of the park he was still giving him room to hit more and more.

Pak need to counter attack here and put pressure back on SL or they have lost this one for sure.

Not knowing for how long a fielder is allowed off the field !

Those are mistakes not even a club captain worth his salt would do. This going beyond ridiculous.

And as I am typing our anti-keeper gets out, someone get him out of the team !
