A real phainty here might just get the PCB to their senses, Manssor, not an ODI opener, Malik not a captain, Afridi, Ajmal not ODI bowlers.

Afrid is a big waste of space. I think people will justify his failure by comparing earlier failures from other batsmen. This is classic subcontinent way of prolonging your career beyond your shelf life.

but knowing the PCB and our team, we'll probably go with 'it was a bad day at the office' scenario and not change anything.

It's kind of embarrassing when Umar Gul plays shots like that cover drive.

Just the approach to chasing this target was tragically inexcusable. Butt one down? Younis opening? Kamran at two down? Afridi at seven?

None of it made any sense at all.

I'm right here.

He came in at 18/5 and tried to play sensibly. That ball swung back a long way, in-swing can make the best of batsman look like absolute fools.

If he's blamed, it'll just be funny. He's crap, remember? I mean, according to everyone on PakPassion, he's crap. So where were our real batsman today?

Why not? These people pay a lot of money for some entertainment and they get this ?

I think people depended on Afridi as last hope and they are leaving - everyone grieves in different ways!

I really doubt that he would have left anything if he'd come in at 0 down. But im not making excuses for afridi, that was terrible.

sad part is i dont even think kulesekara and that other jabroni are class bowlers, they just averga emedium pacers who bowl the right places.... and thats all u need for Pak batting to self destruct..shame

Lack of cricket has affected Misba more than others. He is still scratchy. He was in very good form. With long gap he has lost his touch. But credit to SL bowlers though.
