Yes but they would probably have stayed if malik had gotten out. I think some people just show up to watch afridi bat.
 
I dont expect England to be the best in the world, but at this rate, they heck of alot then Pak. Plus Im British.

GUL looks much better batsman than some recognised batsman in the current team.
 
Lowest total by any team at the Gadaffi 112 by india, Chisty says in that droll voice of his, they will be lucky if they get 43, which is Pak's lowest against any team.
 
Malik will have to score 200 runs for Pakistan to have a chance of winning this game

That is gross under-estimation. Kulasekara bowled very well in Australia also. Punter's wicket was a superb delivery. He has such a very good seam position.

With offensive field sets, using long handle hitting couple of fours won't make him better than them.
 
Now, if we reverse the situation and for a moment consider that we were in SL's place and SL were in our place, what would Malik have done :))

Jayasuriya specifically told in the interview like we teach kids, "we had to see off first 10 overs before attacking as the ball was seaming around". Pakistan lost 6 wickets in the 10 overs that they were supposed to see off.
 
shoiab malik its a team effort is it? good shoaib malik should learn to respect senior players like mohammad yousuf.

i m shoaib akhtar fan and i m very happy for him that he is not playing otherwise i m sure malik would have blamed him again for all this like previous game.
 
Jayawardene is giving both the opening bowlers their full quoto of 10 overs to bowl....Good captaincy as they are enjoying it with 3 wickets each!

In this series, Pak's bad luck with the tosses as they won it in the 2nd still elected to field first which didn't do any good as SL rattled up 290....SO out of 3 just once the toss was won and Pak didnt make it count on these pitches!
 
Only aim is to get the score into the realms of respectably, Malik to get a fifty still ROA to come for support

I know he is not a batsman but question was why the other recognized batsman couldn't performed like him(GUL) this far!!
