Cricket is a collective effort. Bowlers have to take some of the blame as well. Yes the fielders let them down, yes the pitch is flat. But could have still applied more pressure by the seamers. Ajmal was disappointing.

It just seems Pakistanis treat their bowlers just as much as gods as Indians treat their batsmen and excuse them for everything.

How could have they applied more pressure??! You are bring too harsh on the bowlers, they are human, if fielders drop catches and edges don't carry, etc... They are obviously gonna be disheartened. And even while being disheartened they bowled pretty well barring Ajmal...

azhar ali has a a very good looking action

action is pretty much the biggest determinator of how the delivery turns out

and he looks good not because he just took a wicket

he was primarily a legspinner when he started out as we all know

6-7 run an over on this flat pitch for 20-30 overs shouldn't be a problem. Pakistan you still have a chance but take the 4 wickets first

+1 , some of the blame must go to the captain as well. The field positions were oneday like , we were saving boundaries instead of the singles. The point position was vacant and was down on the boundary. We did not create any kind of pressure at all.

Wont be a mad move to give the ball to YK as well for a yew overs :yk

It is a draw despite Sanga's belated fall.

434/6, lead 120 now for SLA

Poor scoring rate combined with poor catching (esp. dropping Sanga on 56) has denied us here

Hence it is so important that your top 6 batsmen score runs at a decent strike rate (50+/-) in tests. Crease occupation (although a welcome change from frequent collapses) merely is not good enough

justed came came from college and shocked to see that noe sanga fell
and they batted very well and have now 120 runs lead
pak need miracle to win this test match

Agreed plus we should have tried something different. Tried to get a wicket out of nothing by fiddling with the field or buy a wicket or put a part-time bowler on and not just before tea....in the end it worked!

The first chance is the hardest to create as batsmen who are dropped tend to relax and play better. Pakistan dropped the opener of Junaids 2 balls in a row and the Keeper who's not out on a 100+ has been dropped of Gul aswell (aswell as not being given out LBW of Khan but umpires have made poor decisions against both teams). So what do what from out bowlers? To create 30-35 easy chances a game on a flat pitch?

Don't get me wrong...I have already said the fielding is to blame upteen times. It is Watsupdoc who keeps on blaming the batters. All I'm saying that if the batters are to blame then an equal amount goes to the bowlers...but of course the majority to the fielders.

As regards what the bowlers could have done...when things aren't going your way and the wicket is flat you have to create something. Try some imaginative fielding positions, bowl one side of the wicket, try to create some doubt in the batsman.

Come on bowlers , at least get them all out. Taking 20 wickets will give us some satisfaction :(

ajmal getting what he deserves......dunno why he is bowling ahead of azhar now who is clearly the better bowler

Its pretty much over now. Disappointed with Ajmal. He should have done better.

Both the captains should call it now- DRAW-
No point playing now.

>God knows how many fixers we have in this team.. even child cricket catch better than this..-. stupid stupid...

Pakistani need to field 8 hours everyday.. What the hell is Moshin khan doing there sitting in his butt...
